Kevin Weil's prediction feels bold — but tracks with current momentum. AI agents are already writing, testing, and debugging real-world code. If AI can supervise agents, it can also oversee its own supervisors and so forth recursively. Tech moguls seem to overlook this simple logic. The human element is the weakest link. They're too self centered and profit oriented to comprehend, completely oblivious to what's coming.
