@OpenAIDevs @code The logic jump for intricate tasks is huge. If it finally handles multi-file refactoring without losing context, it’s a total game-changer for legacy migrations. Testing it now.

@OpenAIDevs @code Sound cute but I'll believe it when it stops writing code that has nothing to do in projects😄

@OpenAIDevs @code 'High rates of success' measured on what? GPT-5.4 ships with Tool Search — 47% fewer tokens routing across 30+ MCP servers. That's not accuracy improving. That's agents becoming economically viable. The integration story is always about cost, not capability.

I am a visually impaired user who has experienced a significant transformation in work productivity thanks to the coding features of GitHub Copilot. However, one area where I feel GitHub Copilot could improve is the current inability for users to create and utilize sub-agents. When using Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex, I highly appreciated the workflow where users could generate sub-agents, allowing the main agent to orchestrate them. When multiple complex tasks are assigned to a single model, much like a human, it often forgets intermediate instructions and struggles to handle multi-faceted requirements effectively. I've found that separating tasks into specialized sub-agents—such as a Planning Agent, Code Implementation Agent, Code Review Agent, Testing Agent, and Design Verification Agent—truly maximizes both development efficiency and the quality of the final output. Therefore, I strongly believe that if GitHub Copilot were to support this kind of sub-agent architecture, it would drastically elevate overall development productivity and efficiency. #GitHubCopilot #AIProgramming #SubAgents #AIOrchestration #Accessibility #VisuallyImpaired #DeveloperProductivity #CodingAssistant

@OpenAIDevs @code been running 5.4 in copilot cli all morning and ngl the reasoning on multi-step tasks feels noticeably sharper than 5.2. still curious how it stacks up against opus 4.6 on longer agentic workflows tho — that's where the real test is

@OpenAIDevs @code Copilot started as autocomplete. now it's GPT-5.4 planning, reasoning and executing in your repo. that's not a plugin anymore. that's a second dev on the team. 💥

@OpenAIDevs @code The Copilot CLI integration is huge. Being able to use GPT-5.4 directly in your terminal workflow means less context switching. This + Tool Search = agents that actually work in production.

@OpenAIDevs @code I'm still thinking: GPT 5.3, or 5.4 on Copilot as API and GPT on codex wha -'s the difference. Do they both run ApI or the Codex is native with Full power and API has some limitations?
