@thdxr Embedding story of executor isn’t great yet also, more work to be done on it but want to get it to a point clients can use it for their codemode implementations I like the non js sandbox approach opencode takes, probably going to use that package in executor

hey @thdxr thanks for your continued commitment to the project and the community had a quick question as ive been doing a bit of a deep dive on the new pi harness that does well on arc agi. ik it kinda games the benchmark, but i still thought the ipython kernel implementation seemed pretty neat for managing context better and giving agents more fine tune control. is this rlm architecture something that will make its way over to opencode at some point? or would it not even really benefit the harness in any way? unsure if this has alr been addressed or not

For people who are trying to contribute on OpenCode, would it be better for them to start contributing on V2? I know that v2 will be merged into v1 and you will have the main repo. However I'm just wondering for people who are currently making PRs for v1, will they be disregarded or will it be integrated as well?

@thdxr please 1) fix select-to-copy on web terminals like github codespaces 2) ctrl+p and ctrl+t and the likes don't work either on web terminals 3) the numpad enter button having a different behavior than the main one is annoying.

I kinda would love it if you guys could enhance the desktop app. As someone who uses opencode desktop every day. It would be amazing to be able to customize it and use a sort of self-dev mode where I can update it and customize it with my own themes, plugins, systems, etc.

Exa in OC2 is doing wonders. I might add a rule to always search shit. I also made a small plugin so that it can tag the right model for a task. I'm thinking: - Deepseek+ exa for knowledge search - Kimi k3 for impl Open source has never been prettier than in Opencode 2

Awesome opencode2 feature, we just released a paper doing largescale evaluation in code mode vs json tool calling compared to historical models (GPT4o vs 5.5) and the results pretty much state that there’s no downside of codemode in 2026.

Do the same thing for skills, plugins, files, e.t.c
