Operation Dudula needs to hear the truth clearly and without sugar-coating: the very man they cheer for and defend is out here calling people from the Eastern Cape โ€œforeigners.โ€ Just let that sink in. Heโ€™s not talking about people from outside the countryโ€”heโ€™s talking about South Africans. Born here....

A wise man once said that when xenophobes are done targeting foreigners, they will eventually turn on fellow South Africans whom they think do not โ€œlook South African.โ€ Sadly, that is exactly what is now happening. It is heartbreaking to watch brother turn against brother, South African turn against South African, simply because they speak different vernacular languages, belong to different ethnic groups, or do not fit someone elseโ€™s narrow idea of what a South African should look like. This is backward, dangerous, and deeply shameful. A country cannot build unity or progress when people are policing each otherโ€™s identity based on accents, language, skin tone, surnames, or tribes. Today it is someone being accused of being foreign. Tomorrow it will be another South African being told they are not โ€œSouth African enough.โ€ That is how hatred destroys societies from within. This is why the rest of the world sometimes laughs at Africans. We fight each other over the very things that should make us stronger, our diversity, cultures, and identities. Instead of uniting against poverty, corruption, unemployment, and failed leadership, people are busy hunting one another over tribe and language. This is the worst form of ignorance because it strips people of their dignity and humanity. I hope this brother recovers from the trauma and humiliation of being treated like an outsider in his own country. I cannot imagine the pain of being called a foreigner by people who believe you must speak their language or look like them to belong.

This is Jacob Zuma, the former President of South Africa, whose political party, MK, has been encouraging South Africans to chase not only undocumented immigrants out of the country, but even black Africans who are legally living and working in South Africa. His campaign vehicles have been driving around KwaZulu-Natal with loudspeakers urging people to drive black Africans out of the country, regardless of whether they are in South Africa legally or not. And then, after all of that, he flew to India to meet the Gupta family, the very people accused of helping to orchestrate the industrial-scale corruption that nearly bankrupted South Africa through state capture. When they faced accountability, they ran away from South Africa, first for Dubai and then for India. Think about the contradiction. A man whose campaign encourages hostility towards fellow Africans is, at the same time, embracing foreign friends who became synonymous with one of the biggest corruption scandals in South African history. By his own admission in this video, he has made it clear that he is unhappy with the direction the country took in pursuing those implicated in state capture. Meanwhile, ordinary black South Africans are being mobilised against fellow black Africans who are living in South Africa legally, while the political battle being fought is, in reality, about power, accountability and the legacy of state capture. They are being drawn into a campaign that serves political interests rather than addressing the countryโ€™s real challenges. History should record this moment. It should record the irony of fellow Africans being turned against one another while those accused of presiding over one of the darkest chapters of corruption in South Africa seek a return to political power. That is a tragedy that future generations should never forget. Imagine dehumanising fellow black Africans who look like you, speak languages like yours, and share the same continent, all so that Jacob Zumaโ€™s Indian friends can return and loot South Africa again.

Yes, indeed, this is lawlessness by any standard. Even by banana republic standards, this is still lawlessness. Your country has a constitution, it has a government, it has a police service, and it has a ruling party. I am sure you can see that some of the people there are actually wearing ruling party T-shirts. It is lawless regardless of whoever does it. It is an embarrassment to South Africa as a country, what you are doing and what you are encouraging people to do. Your country has an immigration service. If people are in your country illegally, they should be arrested and deported through lawful processes. You do not go around destroying property, tearing down markets, and attacking people. It is illegal regardless of whoever does it. It is not illegal because I have said so. It is illegal because the laws of your country make it so. This is vigilantism, pure and simple, and it is tainting the reputation of South Africa, not only across Africa but across the world. If you have got satellite television in your home, you can see that these actions are being reported everywhere. It is not good for your country. This kind of barbarism undermines the rule of law, fuels division, and damages South Africaโ€™s standing as a constitutional democracy. It is the actions of a few that are tainting the reputation of many. The average South African is not mindless like this. They respect the law, and they respect the fact that among them, in their communities, there are people from other countries. If those people are in the country illegally, you report them and the law takes its course through proper processes of arrest and deportation. You do not descend into mob justice, lawlessness, and destruction. That is not who South Africans are, and it must not be normalised.

"This democracy and this education have produced a lot of stupid intelligence., the likes of Thabo Mbeki and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi" Mcebo Dlamini exposes the fake intellectuals who protect illegal foreigners while South Africans suffer. "That's what we are subjected to ..; dealing with these self-proclaimed intellectuals, prophets of suicide, who say whatever they read because society tells them there are problems. They come out and say, 'No, no, we are moving with an ideology that doesn't exist.' Because all this argument of 'Africanism' and 'making friends' .; as long as we're bringing this ideology that you're telling us about, but it doesn't speak to me. Then that ideology falls on deaf ears for South Africans. I think we are unemployed South Africans. The things ..; high crime, South Africans complaining about a lot of things ..; you're telling them about Pan-Africanism? That's the dumbest thing. Pan-Africanism is nothing. There must be ideology, because once the ideology is senseless, the people must reach you. You know what? We must be careful because the problem with this democracy that we have ..; and the education it has produced ..; is a lot of stupid intelligence. That's the problem we have. This education that we're speaking about ..; of both faculties ..; has produced a lot of stupid intellectuals, frauds masquerading as intellectuals. Because they want to think of big things. They see things differently from the reality that we all see. And they want to project and profile themselves as if they are the real thing. Prophets of suicide, as if those who are uneducated and unemployed can't think for themselves. These people are raising issues that affect them. And now they're not speaking about now ..; they're speaking about the future. To see what type of South Africa this will be in ten years. When you look at it, we have beings without anything ..; all for my love for my business, without anything. Now you have lives that will come and see them. These are your future employers. Why should they be illegal? Why should they be future employers of South Africans ..; not South Africans employing them? That's an insult to our people."

ZANUPF has done many terrible things, but it is important to acknowledge that there are certain good things it did too. One of them was allowing Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) to operate from Zimbabwe, pass through Zimbabwe, and even use the Zimbabwe National Army to move its weapons from Zambia to South Africa. I know you are basing your statement on a short video clip which occasionally circulates online, showing Robert Mugabe being interviewed by British television. In that interview, he was asked if he would allow South Africans to fight militarily from Zimbabwe, and he replied that South Africans would fight militarily in South Africa not Zimbabwe. Anyone with a bit of common sense would understand that Mugabe could never have gone on British television and publicly said that Zimbabwe was helping South Africans militarily to fight apartheid from Zimbabwean soil. It is like expecting O. R. Tambo to go on British or American television and expose the tactics used to fight the apartheid regime. That would not have been a smart thing to do. It simply requires a bit of emotional intelligence to understand that when watching that video clip. If you are not aware of the history, read about the number of bombings that took place in Zimbabwe โ€” bombings carried out by the apartheid South African regime in retaliation for Zimbabweโ€™s support of the liberation struggle in South Africa. Even your own former president Thabo Mbeki spoke about how Zimbabwe helped South Africa militarily during that period. That said, this is not an excuse to justify illegal immigration simply because Zimbabwe helped South Africa during the struggle. Zimbabwe did the right thing at the time. I am one of those who have consistently said that I am opposed to illegal immigration because it is a crime. However, that does not give anyone the right to insult or abuse Africans particularly Zimbabweans who are living legally in South Africa and have committed no crime. There are South Africans living in Zimbabwe too. One of the biggest mining companies in Zimbabwe, Zimplats, is South African-owned through Impala Platinum Holdings Limited. The bulk of Impala Platinum Holdings Limitedโ€™s earnings and revenue come from Zimbabwe not South Africa. Those are the taxes that pay grants to South Africans, it takes a bit of reading to understanding the interconnectedness. It is therefore foolish to say you donโ€™t want Zimbabweans who are living legally in South Africa to do so. It is crazy! There are many other South African companies operating in Zimbabwe, and even your former vice-president, DD, owns a mine in Zvishavane. It is healthy for South Africans to have conversations about issues affecting their country. It is also healthy to discuss illegal immigration โ€” that is part of responsible citizenship. But when you start going after people like Peter Ndoro, who are in South Africa legally, and others who are even naturalised South Africans, it becomes clear that the issue is no longer about immigration. It is about targeting Africans โ€” it is Afrophobia. There are many white Zimbabweans living in South Africa, some legally and some illegally, yet I have never heard anyone mention them. Instead, the focus is always on black Africans who are in South Africa legally and contributing to society. That is not about protecting borders or enforcing immigration laws โ€” that is about self-hate, the internalised racism that drives some Africans to turn on their fellow Africans.

Ok enough now! Where are our leaders to finally push back on these insults? Many South Africans denounce violence against our fellow Africans. But, these incessant insults towards us by calling South Africans lazy has to be challenged and rebuked. It is this very rhetoric that is fueling anger. It's Youth Month, a time we honour young people who took to the streets to fight for the freedom of this country. Remember Soweto, June 16 in 1976 and Turfloop, June 12 1986. #FeesMustFall as well as #RhodesMustFall ... Who did that?! Our country is not perfect. We have serious issues we ought to deal with and that's our burden to carry. To continue allowing people with loud voices to call us lazy and spit on our faces is disheartening. Again, no sane South African wants to see innocent people being violently attacked. Many just want things to be done right and legally. Yes, including immigration. It's the so-called lazy South Africans who dealt with Covid and made sure the pandemic does not decimate our part of the world. It is the same lazy South Africans who send our soldiers to wars to help our fellow Africans. We lost 14 soldiers in DRC. RIP Maqhawe! Why are our leaders in government and civil society allowing us to be disrespected and called lazy? If we are lazy, how are we able to use our civic duty to vote in an orderly non-violent free and fair manner? Lazy people allow the politicians to refuse to leave office and rule for life. We don't. If we are lazy why is there order in our country. Our systems are not perfect but many are working efficiently, even immigrants from the diaspora always praise how things work in this country. Many have spoken about something as simple as how queing at the bank is orderly done in Mzansi than it is in Nigeria. Who makes that happen if we are lazy? Who builds the infrastructure, that many the likes of this CEO enjoy when they visit this country? Are there no South Africans working in those construction projects? Companies that run the economy of this country... Who works in those companies? The healthcare sector that is legally open to everyone in this country, who is running that? Are all the nurses, doctors and administrators not South African? You can call out violence and intimidation. You can condemn violence. Hell, you can even call us stupid, if you are so inclined, for allowing criminals to exploit our immigration policies... BUT don't you dare keep calling us lazy! Shame on those with platforms to challenge this insult for keeping quiet! Re telletswe go lekane. Kwanele manje. Nxa... Allen Onyema can go to hell!

These protesters were given political cover by Jacob Zumaโ€™s MK Party and March and March, which are effectively pursuing the same agenda. The MK Party explicitly declared that even Africans who are legally documented must leave South Africa. These protesters have simply acted on that message. They listened to their political leaders and went out to intimidate, harass and target Africans who are lawfully in the country. This is exactly what is turning South Africa into a laughingstock in the eyes of the world. It hands ammunition to its critics, including countries such as Israel and political figures like Donald Trump, who point to scenes like these and argue that South Africa is descending into lawlessness. If people claim they are protesting against illegal immigration but then use that protest to loot businesses, harass and intimidate Africans who are legally in South Africa, as has been reported in this news reports, then this has nothing to do with illegal immigration. It is xenophobia. It is Afrophobia. That is precisely what those terms mean. It is deeply disturbing to watch South Africa take this dark turn, where black Africans are persecuted simply because they are African, even when they have the legal right to live and work in the country. This is not law enforcement. It is prejudice dressed up as activism. We warned from the very beginning that this movement was being driven by hatred of black Africans, not by a genuine concern for the rule of law. We were insulted, mocked and dismissed. Today, those who doubted us need only look at what is happening. The evidence is now in plain sight.

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸšจGRAPHIC Warning: South Africa Kill the Boer Extremism; Why is South Africa going crazy? Hate created hate and people have chose hate to express pain. The appalling chant started because of Apartheid South Africa and colonization of Aboriginal lands. I donโ€™t agree with the approach but I study where things originate from. There are millions of South Africans that have been engaging in a culture and racial war. Unfortunately the West only get to see the highlights. The same man that is leading the chants about killing the white farmer also stated โ€œwe are Putin and Putin is usโ€ so for my Conservatives and Democrats it appears we have a confusing narrative. Racist South Africans who are resisting Ukraine? It would be beneficial for the people of the world if we all stopped looking at every scenario based off one video and for Americans saying this is the Woke that America is heading to. If white people never went this far with black please when it was legal to do so please donโ€™t expect black people to do the same. We arenโ€™t in the 90s anymore, there is no way I accept that people still believe media propaganda that people do these things because they are โ€œmindless black savages.โ€ The only reason MSM is truly ignoring this is over their hate for Ukraine. Putin has been forgiving Africaโ€™s debt by the billions this year. There have burials of Black children while they are alive by White South Africans while they were alive, this war that they have is truly beyond us. To the people of the world, we are all tired but we have to LOVE. This white vs. black thing is really looking more barbaric the more it continues. South Africa is simply America if we never had dreamers like Martin and Lincoln.
