@jsosheriff Good start, but geez, I hope these were the ones supplying the trap house next door to me. Neighbors and I have reported them for at least 2 years but we’ve never heard from JSO Narcotics. Yet, other FL counties have busted at least one guy for possession, prostitution, battery.

Two Brampton residents are facing multiple Criminal Code charges related to weapons trafficking following an eight-month investigation by police. In February 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)-led Border Drug Interdiction Task Force (BDIT) launched an intelligence-based investigation into suspected cocaine trafficking. On Thursday, September 11, 2025, investigators identified a northbound tractor-trailer linked to the probe, which originated in Toronto. The vehicle was intercepted at a Ministry of Transportation inspection station near Temiskaming Shores. With assistance from several specialized OPP units — including the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, the Provincial Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team, North East Region Community Street Crime Units, the Canine Unit, and Temiskaming OPP — officers executed a search warrant on the truck. The search led to the seizure of 72 illegal handguns and 66 prohibited devices. Preliminary tracing by the Firearms Analysis and Tracing Enforcement (FATE) Program, managed by the Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario, revealed that all the firearms originated in the United States. A sheriff in Florida is going viral for showing off "$50,000 in drip" during a press conference that was confiscated from an alleged local drug dealer. On Aug. 22, Polk County, Fla., Sheriff Grady Judd announced the arrest of Nathaniel “Nate” Donald, as part of an operation called Capital City Crack Down. Police claim Donald is a local drug kingpin who distributed weed, crack cocaine, Fentanyl and MDMA in the South Florida area. Authorities seized drugs, firearms and close to $50,000 in jewelry during their investigation. During the press conference, Judd wore some of the jewelry they confiscated, including a Cuban link chain and bracelet. "I got their drip. I got their body. I got their guns. We got their dope. And that's what we're going to talk about today," Judd started the meeting. "We did six wire intercepts and nine search warrants. Eight of the search warrants in Bartow back in November of last year. APD announced that they arrested 112 people during a three-week, zero tolerance operation along the Central Avenue corridor. APD reported that their GANG unit, FAST unit, and their Narcotics units conducted a proactive operation with the assistance of Field Services Bureau Proactive Response Teams (PRT). During the operation, officers arrested 112 people, cleared 106 felony warrants and 38 misdemeanor warrants. The operation focused on out in the open (plain sight) drug use, drug trafficking, active warrants and maintained a high visibility presence along the Central Avenue corridor. During the operation, the narcotics unit focused on targeting drug trafficking along the east Central corridor. Detectives highlighted the arrest of Kyle Kamm for trafficking a controlled substance. Through the investigation, it was learned that Kamm was armed with a 9mm handgun during multiple drug transactions. This arrest resulted in the following: Approximately 500 fentanyl pills 9mm handgun Ammunition Drug trafficking paraphernalia Felony charges APD says that this specific case highlights the potential violence that can occur during drug transactions where a firearm is present. APD went on to say that there has been a decrease citywide in aggravated assaults and shootings, primarily through the Central Avenue Corridor. For the first time in recent years, the Southeast area command has seen a 9% decrease in aggravated assaults and shootings. During their operation, Southwest PRT also assisted in the apprehension of Charles Madrid, the suspect involved in the fatal stabbing that occurred this past week on a bus. As part of their ongoing efforts to combat violent crime along the Central corridor, APD implemented a second swing shift PRT team. It has been created specifically for the violent southeast area command. APD believes that their re-allocation of police resources and specialty units along Central Avenue during different times of the day, including evenings and nights, are a contributing factor to the decrease in violence and proactive results. APD says their operations will continue throughout the year along the Central Avenue corridor.
