Opus 5.5 actually shows the difference. I honestly expected less. One prompt: build the DeLorean and the clock tower square, rig the car, animate the lightning strike. Both models drove Blender through the Higgsfield Blender plugin and hooked with Higgsfield MCP, where it can use Nano Banana Pro for... show more

The prompt explicitly allowed generating anything: images, 3D models, whatever they wanted. GPT-6 chose to generate nothing. Zero images, zero meshes. I even asked it afterwards, and yes, it really made none. Opus 5.5 spent $3.6 on generations total, and honestly the result just looks better.

For 3D modeling Opus 5.5 is really nice man, no way to Openai compete right now.

Blender mcp ?

That last line is the real result: Astra skipped the generator but still completed the scene. I’d want the next pass to log object-level failures and recovery time, not just tokens and API cost.

why astra didnt add the important end part ?

Seems like Opus 5.5 has an aesthetic sense that is pretty decent

"Curious what 'the difference' means exactly, is there a side by side with the previous model's attempt?"

gpt-6 building 517 objects itself makes the token comparison less clean

Ya you cant always go off the first try. Sometimes you just get a stupid GPU.

This Higgsfield MCP workflow is incredible. We love seeing Tripo integrated as a core node in these advanced agentic tests!

Same scene, different workshop: Opus used specialist generators, while Astra hand-built all 517 objects. That makes tool choice part of the benchmark, not just model quality.

Interesting that Astra skipped generators and built all objects itself. Opus landing the strike still sounds satisfying. Would you try a prompt with more handoff next?

can opus 5.5 replace astra on blender use? i am looking to ditch my chatgpt $200 entirely since openai is dumbing down my models hard.
