Having an independent judiciary, And the supremacy of the rule of law. Are the basic components of any peace- building in Nigeria. I believe peaceful co-existence is only possible if there's social justice regardless of religion, tribe, or ethnicity.

Over the past two years, our administration has remained resolute in its commitment to the rapid and inclusive transformation of both rural and urban communities across Kaduna State. We have launched and sustained large-scale infrastructural development projects, revitalized critical sectors such as health and education, taken decisive steps to alleviate poverty, and strengthened our partnerships with security agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of all our citizens.

Today, we commenced a joint enforcement operation at Boundary, Ajegunle, Apapa axis, in collaboration with Navy NNS Beecroft, the Lagos State Task Force, the Nigerian Army and other security agencies. The operation is part of our coordinated effort to restore environmental order, secure public spaces and address activities that threaten sanitation, safety and lawful use of critical corridors within Apapa and its environs. Inter-agency collaboration remains key to achieving lasting environmental compliance and public safety. We will continue to work closely with all security agencies to ensure that our communities remain clean, orderly and secure. #CleanerLagos #GreaterLagos

The Nigerian Army Troops, in collaboration with the ONSA Tactical Team and other sister security agencies, have continued to record significant operational successes across the North Central and North Western states of Nigeria through coordinated intelligence-driven operations targeting terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, arms traffickers, and other criminal elements. Recent operations have successfully rescued kidnapped victims, eliminated terrorists, recovered illegal weapons, dismantled criminal hideouts, and disrupted violent networks threatening peace and stability in affected communities. These achievements underscore the effectiveness of the robust synergy, inter-agency cooperation, and sustained collaboration among security security forces in addressing evolving security challenges across the country.

As we reunite these victims with their families, the Kaduna State Government remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of our people. The Kaduna Peace Model continues to yield positive results, and we maintain a zero-tolerance stance against the politicization of security matters.

We are preparing for negotiations with our partners—both European and American—starting midweek. This includes the Ramstein meeting, discussions in Kyiv, and later, participation in the Munich Security Conference. It is crucial that we all work together to bring about real peace and effective security guarantees—the security of our people, our state, our economic relations, and, importantly, our resource resilience—not just for Ukraine, but for the entire free world. All of this is being decided now—by Ukraine and our partners. Peace is always a collective effort.

Yesterday, I visited the palace of the Onojie of Ekpoma, His Royal Highness, Zaiki Anthony Ehizojie Abumere Il, following the protest in Ekpoma that resulted in the attack of the palace and widespread destruction of property in the community. Having met with the stakestakeholders, I want to reassure the good people of Edo State that your safety remains my top priority. My administration has made strong investments in modern security equipment, intelligence gathering, and collaboration among security agencies, and these efforts are already yielding results in our fight against kidnapping, cultism, and other crimes. Let me be clear: Edo State will not be taken hostage by criminals or their sponsors. Anyone involved in kidnapping or any form of criminal activity will be tracked down and brought to justice. There will be no hiding place for them. While we respect the right of citizens to express themselves peacefully, I urge everyone to remain calm, vigilant, and law abiding, and not allow anyone to exploit genuine concerns to threaten the peace of our state. Security operations are ongoing across Edo, and my government is firmly in control of the situation. Together with our security agencies and with the support of our people, we will continue to restore and sustain peace across Edo State. A safe, peaceful, and prosperous Edo remains our collective goal. #PracticalGovernance #SHINEagenda

The Kaduna Peace Model represents a thoughtful, locally rooted approach to building security through inclusion, dialogue, and community-led development. By addressing the underlying causes of conflict and strengthening grassroots capacities, it has laid a durable foundation for sustainable peace. Its effectiveness continues to draw national recognition, inspiring other states to adapt its principles in pursuit of their own stability and cohesion.

We are coordinating our international efforts—today we held relevant meetings, primarily regarding the United States and our European partners. Peace through strength is possible, and we firmly believe in this. The key is not to slow down and to keep the pressure on Russia—the sole actor responsible for this war, the one that wants it and is prolonging the aggression and occupation. Energy resources, particularly oil, remain one of the most critical factors for peace and real security. And Europe must work more closely with America and other global partners on energy resources, not with Russia. We are preparing our diplomacy and international communications to ensure strong positions not only for Ukraine but for our entire Europe. I thank everyone who is helping us.

This intense day is coming to an end, dedicated to advancing peace and stability in the Middle East. The EU remains fully engaged with global partners and the broader international community to advance the implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan. Peace, security, and dignity for both Israelis and Palestinians require political courage, sustained engagement, and collective responsibility. Our guiding framework remains UN Security Council Resolution 2803. Early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza can only be sustainable if anchored in a credible political horizon-the Two-State solution. Without that horizon, reconstruction will not deliver lasting stability.

Yesterday, we visited my brother, Chief Adebayo Adelabu to commiserate with him over the kidnapping of his younger sister and her children. I assured him that the security agencies are working towards their safe return, and we discussed some of the measures our administration is putting in place to further strengthen our security architecture in Oyo State.
