Ukrainian long-range drones struck the Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery in Yaroslavl Oblast, over 700 kilometers (435 miles) from the Ukrainian border, overnight on Aug. 6. “Today, our long-range sanctions worked again to limit Russia’s oil profits used to finance the war,” Zelensky said, adding that Ukrainian forces also struck two Russian patrol boats and shadow fleet vessels in the Black Sea.
