Love the idea but need more context…are those 4 lines all outfielders? If so, who has priority? How/what type of communication are you trying to teach? The drill makes more sense if the first two lines are infielders and back two lines are outfielders.

For this time they are all outfielders because I have a large group. We will establish which guy is center/left/short/third. Could be done with infielders in front and outfield in back.
