Type of machine? How far away are you shooting? Do you ever have them start on their bellies or bellies up to take away situation awareness? Or not enough time to make it safe and productive?

We use our “green machine” for this drill and almost all fly ball drills. I’m usually at home plate or along 1B line, so anywhere between 250-315 ft. I have used a mini hack but the distance will have to be much smaller. (Machine on home plate, keeping them in the infield) We do have some drills that require them to start in unconventional positions prior to tracking.
