@mybmcwardKW Could you be a little more specific about when the affected wards will start receiving water? Taps have been dry in someplaces for over 2 days now. People expect more than just a vague social media post.

Kudos to the team working on the pipeline. But isn't it time safeguards are in place to avoid such situations in future? Why is map of underground pipelines not followed by those digging. Strict action is necc against violaters so others will b more careful when working undrgrnd.

🌧️The Mumbai Metropolitan City (Mumbai City & Suburbs) has experienced extremely heavy rainfall over the past two days. In certain locations, an unprecedented volume of rainfall exceeding 350 millimetres was recorded within a short duration. ☔️In light of the prevailing weather conditions, all departments of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) were actively and continuously engaged in on-ground operations. Officers, engineers, pump operators, health workers, other staff and emergency response teams remained deployed on-field with utmost dedication and promptness. 🔹Special attention was given to critical work such as the storm water drainage system, sewerage network and pumping stations. Immediate and necessary measures were undertaken to ensure that the drainage of rainwater remained unhindered and that public inconvenience was minimised. 🌧️Due to the exceptional nature of the rainfall, citizens did face inconvenience at a few locations. However, Mumbaikars showed commendable civic discipline, understanding and extended their full cooperation by responding positively to the advisories issued by the administration from time to time. 🙏The BMC expresses sincere gratitude to the citizens of Mumbai for their support and cooperation. #mybmcupdates #MumbaiRains CMO Maharashtra Eknath Shinde - एकनाथ शिंदे Ajit Pawar Adv. Hera Pheri of nearly 70000 voters in Dharavi’s Voter List! Following the clear direction of our leader Jannayak Rahul Gandhi ji, Dharavi Congress has been carefully examining every page of the voter list to check #VoteChori. What we found is shocking. Across Dharavi, 6000 to 10000 voters per ward have been quietly shifted from their original ward to some other ward altogether. Entire neighbourhoods like Social Nagar, for example, have been moved to distant wards with no logical connection. If this were a small mix up between adjoining wards, it could be understood. But this is systematic shifting to far-off wards. The intention is clear. Confuse voters. Create chaos. Ensure people reach their usual booths on polling day only to discover their names missing. We visited WARD GN BMC and formally lodged our protest against this. There's more! The forms that are provided right now for objections and suggestions are only meant for individual entries. There is no mechanism to report a mass displacement of voters. We were told to submit individual forms for each of the 6000 to 10000 shifted voters per ward. How is anyone supposed to file 10000 forms in a matter of days? This is bureaucracy being weaponised. This is the Election Commission turning “process is the punishment” into policy. We firmly believe this is a deliberate attempt to frustrate Dharavi’s voters and misuse these discrepancies for #VoteChori. Dharavi Congress will not stay silent. ⭕ We will continue demanding transparency. ⭕ We will continue exposing every irregularity. ⭕ And we will continue fighting to protect every Dharavikar’s vote. A formal complaint has been filed. We will keep following up. #VoterList #Mumbai #Dharavi #DharaviKiBeti #DharaviKiJyoti #AapkiJyoti #AapkiBeti #VoterListHeraPheri Prof. Varsha Eknath Gaikwad Election Commission of India ChiefElectoralOffice
