My little black cat with an incredibly strong ability to empathize 🐈‍⬛🫶🏻 🖤 When I was young, I was always focused on sports, but there were also careers I wanted to try. One of them was becoming a tattoo artist. Because it's a job where you can create something that will remain forever as your own work. Although I'm not that good at drawing, I still thought, “If I did this job, wouldn't it be cool?” I also thought about becoming a tour guide. Since I was little, I've always liked making my friends laugh. And whenever I found a good restaurant or an interesting place, I wanted to introduce it to my friends. So I felt that if I became a tour guide, I could create many beautiful memories for people. I really wanted to try many different kinds of careers. So in a way, I feel very lucky that I ended up doing the job I have now. Of course, my main job is making music and performing on stage, but being an idol can be seen as being a versatile entertainer. You need to be good at variety shows, and having acting skills is also great because it allows you to create more content and deliver positive influence to many people. I actually think that's wonderful. It's the same with being an MC or a radio DJ. I also really want to try voice acting. I want to try acting too. There are so many things I want to try. Hehe. 🤍Being a singer isn't an easy job 🖤 That's true. But it's not only singers, every profession is difficult in its own way. For professions like singers or actors, which belong to the entertainment industry, you have to show yourself to others. From the outside, people naturally think that this must be very exhausting. But just like the jobs that I personally don't know much about, we can't truly understand what kinds of difficulties they have. So actually, everyone works hard and everyone has their own struggles. It's just that our struggles are the ones people can see because we are constantly showing ourselves in front of everyone. There is no one who doesn't have difficulties. Students also work very hard. At every age and in every different living situation, there are things that feel difficult. So when I meet people and talk with them, they often worry about me, saying things like “You must be really tired.” “You must be so busy” “You must be worn out from everything”And I usually reply “Not really, we all work just as hard.” Then they say “But you're working much harder than me.” Actually, I'm very grateful when people say that. It comes from a place of caring about me. But I believe everyone has their own hardships. Just as exams may be the most stressful thing for students. Every generation and every stage of life has its own struggles. My job is tiring, but it's also a job where I can give people strength and energy. That's why I feel very fulfilled, and I will continue working hard. Oh haminie🥺 cr horahola

AHOF Cha Woongki's acceptance speech for AHOF during 2026 D-Awards Thank you Woongki, despite the short amount of time and the staff wanting to wrap it up before you spoke, for not failing to name and thank EVERY SINGLE PERSON that helped AHOF in their success behind the scenes. It's amazing how you remembered all the names 🥹 You really are a professional idol and you know that acknowledging the people that helped the group goes a long way 🥹 This is why you and AHOF are loved and will be remembered 🫶🏻 Woongki: "Since I am incredibly honored to have the chance to give an acceptance speech for us for three times, I would like to take this opportunity to send my gratitude to the people I am grateful to but wasn't able to mention them earlier. 🤍: Yeah, like I said, this year has been a mix of everything, excitement, exhaustion, fun, and emotional moments. It’s been full of so many different feelings. 🤍: I have to admit, this year was much more exhausting than last year. 🤍: But we also gained so many talented people who joined the team. 🤍: So, for me, Namtan, I don’t think we should lower anyone’s capabilities, but rather we need to level up ourselves. There were times when I couldn't rehearse as much as some of the others, but what made me happy was that nobody left anyone behind. And honestly, a great show like this could never happen without an incredible team working behind the scenes. Every single department worked so hard. 🤍: Please give a round of applause to all the staff and crew who made this event possible. 🤍: Everyone worked so hard, really hard, to make this concert the most perfect it could be. And thank you to the executives at GMMTV, especially P'Tha, and all of our seniors who have always believed in us, trusted us, and supported us. Whenever we needed something, whenever any of us were struggling, they were always there to help and take care of us. 🤍: Nong Film... Don’t cry, I don't want you to cry. 🤍: Honestly, I don't think I can hold it together either. 🤍: This concert is another milestone for both of us, another step that has helped us grow, become stronger, and feel even prouder of ourselves. And I'm so, so proud of you, Film. 🤍: If I didn't have Film with me, I would've been in big trouble for this concert. Thank you so much, Film. 🤍: You're amazing. You really are. 🤍: This tiny girl, this tiny girl... well, you might not be as athletic as P'Namtan, but you're such a fighter. A real fighter. Thank you for everything. And I want you to know that I love you very much, and I won't get a divorce! 💙: Hey! Just get married already! Get married! 🤍: And most importantly, this show today and tomorrow, the Blush Blossom Fan Fest, wouldn't have been possible without the support from you all. Can everyone give yourselves a round of applause? 🤍: Including everyone watching from home. Thank you so much again. NAMTANFILM DOKMAI RATRI #BBFanFest2026D1 #NamtanFilm #น้ำตาลฟิล์ม

PLEASE, do not believe this false narrative. It's simply untrue. Here's some evidence. Here's a Blue, Pack-a-Punch 1 FFAR (one of the worst ARs in the game) on Rounds 22, 23, and 27. - No Drops (Insta-Kills, Double Points, Nukes) - No Double Tap - No Deadshot - Jugg is Turtle Shell Stats: Round 22: +7,350 Points - No ammo bought Round 23: +7,880 Points - No ammo bought (using just Napalm Burst and a few shots for bugs) Round 27: +8,080 Points - Ammo bought ONCE This narrative that "guns can't kill anything past round_____" is blatantly hyperbolic and scientifically false. (Especially with the latest Napalm Burst fix) Not to mention Ammo Mods: - Dead Wire will stun enemies and take Zombies down to only 40% of their health, and it'll pop off their armor. - Napalm Burst will obviously destroy hordes - Cryo Freeze will give a 50% increase in damage - Brian Rot will kill zombies for you Or all the kill streaks, field upgrades, and equipment that you could use to gain more points. (Like combat axes killing indefinitely at any round) Or even the abundantly available free Pack-A-Punch quests, free Aether Tool quests, Free Points/Salvage quests, etc. To put this even more into perspective: If someone is going down constantly with Jugg from Rounds 10-30, here's the breakdown With Tier 1 Armor: -Jugg by itself is a 9 hit to down. -Probiotic is 11 hits to down. -Hardened plates is 13 hits to down. -Probiotic AND Hardened plates is 15 hits to down. With Tier 2 Armor: -Jugg by itself is 12 hits to down. -Probiotic is 15. -Hardened Plates is 18. -Probiotic and Hardened plates is 22. TWENTY-TWO! If someone is "constantly going down" during this phase of the game, it is nothing but a skill issue. It isn't "flawed" or "poorly balanced," it's on the player to not get hit 9-22 times within a 6-second time span. Just like how in Mario you need to be good at platforming and jumping. No one would claim that the death pits in Mario are "flawed" or are "poorly designed" just because not everyone can play the game properly. If you find yourself constantly going down, spending points on things that don't increase your survival, or making bad decisions, that is 100% on you, not the game. And as we discovered, you can be tremendously "underpowered" and STILL get caught up within a few rounds. EDIT: Please, guys, let's not bully or talk down to Awes here. I really just wanted to talk about the point system. There's no need to be demeaning or impolite. Let's keep it classy and respectful.😎

Sometimes I don’t understand why Ajit Agarkar was and is always against Sanju Samson In 2023, India had 3 squads for the Asia Cup, Asian Games & ODI World Cup. 31 different players got selected across those tournaments & somehow Sanju wasn’t part of any squads. What’s even crazier is that he was picked as a reserve player for the Asia Cup, which meant he wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & it also affected his plans to play County Cricket. So in the end he wasn’t part of the Asia Cup squad, wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & couldn’t continue with his County plans either. Everyone who followed the ODI matches before the 2023 World Cup knew Sanju was the most deserving guy who wasn’t picked in the squad. When Sanju scored 3 T20I centuries as an opener in 2024, Ajit Agarkar openly said he was only playing because Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal were unavailable. Imagine saying that about a player who had just scored 3 centuries in 5 matches for India in T20Is something no one has done before in a year. Most players would get backed after performances like that. That was so disrespectful from the national selector. I wonder how Sanju would have felt that day. Then came the ODI explanation. Ajit Agarkar said Sanju wasn’t being picked because he was a top-order batter. But Sanju has literally batted everywhere in ODI cricket other than opening and his numbers have been excellent irrespective of the position. His last ODI innings was a match-winning century in a series decider against South Africa at Paarl, one of the toughest batting venues in the country, and after that innings he never played another ODI for India. Last year selectors picked ODI squad with 3 different WKs for a series & Sanju wasn’t one of them. That’s when the explanation came that Sanju is a top-order batter. But now Virat Kohli gets injured and India need a No.3 batter, yet Sanju still isn’t being considered despite being the last Indian batter other than Kohli to score an ODI century at No.3. So he wasn’t picked because he was a top-order batter, but when a top-order spot opens up he still isn’t picked. What kind of logic is that? And the most frustrating part is that it’s always the same guy missing out whenever an ICC event comes around when he deserve the most 🔹 2021 T20 World Cup 🔹 2022 T20 World Cup 🔹 2023 Asia Cup 🔹 2023 Asian Games 🔹 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup 🔹 2025 ICC Champions Trophy Every single time it’s Sanju Samson What’s even crazier is that during the T20 World Cup cycle he gets some chances in ODI squads while completely neglecting him in T20 squad , and vice versa during the ODI World Cup cycle he would suddenly appear in T20 squads. Not because he was getting consistent opportunities, but because he was never given a clear role or a long run in either format. 2-3 failures & he would be out again💔 No backing. No continuity. No clarity. Things have always been different when it comes to Sanju Samson First time he was picked for an ICC event was for the 2024 T20 World Cup, but didn’t get to play a single match & India won an ICC tournament after more than a decade The only ICC tournament Sanju Samson has actually played in during his entire 11-year international career was the 2026 T20 World Cup. The only ICC tournament he actually got an opportunity to play, he ended up being the best player of the tournament📈 One of the things I admire most about Sanju is that he has never shown frustration. He never complained, never held grudges against those who disrespected him, and never made excuses. He always kept a smile on his face, even during the lowest moments of his career 💎 Every opportunity had to be earned the hard way, every place in the squad had to be fought for, and every setback had to be overcome without any backing Even after winning the WorldCup as POTT, some people are still questioning his place in the team which makes me realise that every match for Sanju will always remain as a “Do or Die” game😅

Nick Saban was asked a question after practice once. His response was 70 seconds of gold on what it takes to be successful in life. Here’s Saban on the Illusion of Choice: “These guys, they all think they have this illusion of choice. Like I can do whatever I want to do. “You have a younger generation now that doesn’t always get told no. They don’t get told this is exactly how you need to do it. So they have this illusion that they have all these choices. “But the fact of the matter is, if you want to be good you don’t really have a lot of choices. It takes what it takes. You have to do what you have to do to be successful. “You have to make the choices and decisions to have the discipline and the focus to the process of what you need to do to accomplish your goals. “All these guys that think they have a lot of choices are sadly mistaken. As we all have done with our own children, they learn these lessons of life as they get older. “Sometimes the best way to learn is from the mistakes you make, even though we all hate to see them have to make them, and we don’t condone it when they do.” – I’ve studied Saban for 12+ years, and the Illusion of Choice is one of the most powerful concepts I’ve come across. Some key takeaways: 1. Excellence has a price. We can complain about that, but it’s a fact of life. 2. Most people don’t want to pay that price. They just haven’t admitted it to themselves. 3. Saying you want to be excellent is easy. Becoming excellent is hard. 4. There may not be one way to become great, but there are very few. And they all have discipline and consistency in common. 5. Every action we take is a choice. We’re choosing to make progress, or we’re not. 6. The formula for becoming successful: Your Daily Choices x Time. It’s simple, but we make it complicated. 7. Sometimes we learn more by making the wrong choices. Reflect on them, pull out the lessons and move on. 8. You have to choose what you do every day. Don’t follow your feelings. Choose to do what will make you better. 9. There are no long-term hacks. It takes what it takes. ||| Hope this is helpful. Follow me Teddy Mitrosilis for more writing. Climbing Annapurna: A Journey of Leadership Reflecting back, this avalanche was the exact reason for my decision NOT to take the normal route up Annapurna. Annapurna was the first mountain of the project Possible, and it wasn’t only this avalanche that presented hurdles. The long summit push in waist-deep snow, the rescues, and my team being in charge of fixing the lines all played a role. I realize how pivotal that moment was. As a leader, whether on the mountain or in life, I know every choice carries immense weight. One wrong decision could be catastrophic. During my career within the Gurkhas and UKSF/SBS, especially on operations, I learned that 100% commitment is essential, and I carry that mantra as a major principle in my life. After this avalanche, the next morning, I flew my drone to scout the mountain, using skills I developed in the special forces. With no filming crew or high-altitude cameras, it was just me and my determination. Choosing the Dutch Rib route, which had never been completed before, faced skepticism. Many said it was impossible, but I was driven by a greater purpose. We managed to push through, fixed the lines not only for our team but for the rest of the season's climbers, and reached the summit, proving that with dedication and hard work, the impossible can become reality. For me, leadership is about integrity and commitment. Every decision I make is for the team and the mission. After leading over 200 successful expeditions during and after my military career, I cannot emphasize the importance of always giving 100%. The lessons learned along the way are crucial for making it safe. As you all know, I’m a big fan of both summit and safety; they go hand in hand with my expeditions. My 52 successful ascents of 8000m peaks, while guiding and leading the team, speak volumes about the power of collaboration and shared goals. Here’s to embracing challenges and making every decision count 🙌🏽🙏🏽 #50plus8000msummits #MotivationalSpeaker #higgest8ksummitswithno02 #firstk2wintersummitnoo2 #nimsdai

Every company wants to get better at making money. However, collecting cash is often as hard as selling product in the first place. We lived this problem first hand working in freight, SaaS and media. All the tools we tried had horrible customer success and long implementation times. There’s a void in what should be an ecosystem of automation. Last year we set out to build the best engineering company in the world to automate accounts receivable work. The blue-collar businesses who power the world need help collecting the money they earn in industries like manufacturing, medical devices, logistics, and distribution. We are incredibly focused every day on earning the right to fight for these too-often-ignored customers. When we met the team at a16z this summer, they felt like an extension of our team: Seema Amble, Joe Schmidt IV, and Brian Roberts immediately saw the problem and the vision we had for our business. They understood how we deliver value and help businesses thrive. We almost missed our flight back to NYC from SF finalizing the deal, and in a quick turn of events we’re now opening an office in SF. Today, we’re excited to announce that our company Stuut has raised a $29.5M Series A round led by a16z with participation from Activant Capital Khosla Ventures, 1984 Ventures, veseyventures,Valley Bank, pageonevc, Carya Ventures With this funding, we will double down on delivering value where our customers need it in the quickest time possible. We will also stay focused on winning and delivering on the outcomes we can control. The most impactful thing we can do is see our customers get promoted and their businesses scale faster.

Before I update everything from Anton weverse live tonight, I just wanna say : "My dearest Anton Chanyoung Lee, thank u for being brave, strong & calm for facing the disrespectful comments & addressing that all RIIZE members get along well to each other. I'm so proud of u" 🥰🫳🫳🫳🦕💖 Let's keep on reporting all bad disrespectful accounts that always attacking & harassing Anton & RIIZE in every social medias & apps to : I always send my best prayers & wishes to God to make Anton stronger, wiser, healthier & happier. So, I take all of these bad people negative & disrespectful attack on him as God's way to make him stronger than ever. I believe Anton can make it & these hard challenges will always bring more great positive blessings in his life 💖🥰💖 I don't want to explain the context anymore cuz all RIIZE members are way beyond their own flaws to be talked about. As far as I stand & support them, all I can see that they all talented & have lovely n kind characters on them. So.. I just want to stay focus on positive things. Also as much as they treat us in such close parasocial vibes, we as fans must always realize that " Fans Are Outsiders " on our idols private lives with their own members, friends & family. We will never know what goes behind the scene on our idols every relationships & they have their own personal & professional rights to not share or not show everything with their fans or everyone. ‼️ KNOW OUR OWN BOUNDARIES AS FANS ‼️ Everything that might seems uncomfortable we see publicly from our idol members interaction already being solved privately behind the scene peacefully & lovingly. And you know what.. they might even laugh it off together cuz what matter most is all members in our beloved idol group know each other personality more than us, their fans. They all know how to solve their own problems to each other, they also have their own management too to help them. Some of things that they've shown to us, maybe scripted intentionally cuz that's how showbiz entertainment life works. So please, be nice & kind to all RIIZE members, especially during their live interaction with fans. It's their own personal time to their beloved fans & mostly they're being honest as themselves to fans. Learn to behave & control our emotions. There's no need to call them out again on matters that they already know & reflected, especially when what they did is not a crime. Anton hyungs always joke & tease him too even kinda harsh sometimes, but I never saw teenys attacking his RIIZE hyungs back on weverse live cuz that's just out of line & such a low & bad character behavior. But this is not who's better fandom or what. Anton very rarely teasing his hyungs & he always support all of them kindly n lovingly, he even the only one who buys gift to his hyungs on their birthdays cuz that's his love language. He's more than just his momentarily flaws just like other RIIZE members too. We never knew what kind of pressures, traumas, stress that they have all full time they work to make their fans & their company happy. Especially when we know for sure that all RIIZE members always watching what their fans do or how their fans reaction to what they did. Not only fans, our idols are always keep update on their fans dynamics. So, let's just be kind & respectful. Yes, all members are adults but they still deserve to be treated respectfully, kindly & lovingly. Kindness & Good Respectful Behavior applies to all ages, genders, nations, any kind of living beings. Lastly, if you complain about bad things or some bad persons in our fandom, please don't call them as BRIIZE cuz they are not !! There are still lot of True BRIIZE who behave respectfully, kind & lovely to all RIIZE members in this fandom. Control our anger cuz other fandoms also have bad peoples in their own fandom. If you want to make RIIZE RISE protect their fandom name. BRIIZE is also one whole package to RIIZING UP HIGH TOGETHER ✨🧡🥰🧡✨

I've put together a straightforward protocol that seems to work quite well for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). A carnivore/lion diet works great for MS, but if you optimize a few nutrients and habits it can really improve your results and spur recovery. By just doing a carnivore/lion diet, there are now people who have not only put their symptoms into remission but have started to reverse their lesions on MRI. Some of these individuals will be in our upcoming case series on MS patients who are recovering using the carnivore diet. This full protocol can help even more. Dr. Chaffee's Protocol for Optimizing Multiple Sclerosis Recovery: This protocol outlines a comprehensive approach to supporting recovery from multiple sclerosis (MS), emphasizing dietary modifications, light optimization, and physical activity. 1) Dietary Intervention: The cornerstone of this protocol is a strict, high-fat, carnivore "lion" diet, predominantly consisting of beef and lamb, with 2g of fat for every 1g of protein, as detailed in my videos. All carbohydrates, sugars, and alcohol must be strictly excluded to induce and maintain ketosis, and to prevent further damage and inflammation to the nervous system. Ketones serve as the brain's preferred energy source and readily cross the blood-brain barrier, where they are converted into fatty acids, the essential building blocks for brain tissue. Prioritize grass-fed fats such as tallow, butter, or lamb fat, incorporating them into every meal for optimal results. Exclusively eating grass-fed meat is not required, these fats can be purchased separately. Grass-fed butter is readily available, as is grass finished tallow, and less often grass finished lamb. Bone marrow and even brain are excellent options as well. Wild-caught fatty fish is also acceptable; however, grass-finished lamb fat contains approximately 20 times the omega-3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) compared to even oily wild-caught fish. DHA, EPA, and cholesterol are essential for myelin sheath regeneration on axons. 2) Nutritional Supplementation: For the first month, consume 50-100g (a few ounces) of liver daily. This can then be reduced to three times per week, with concurrent monitoring of B12 and homocysteine to maintain optimal levels. Maintain B12 levels between 800-1200 pmol/L or 1100-1600 pg/mL (American units). Homocysteine levels should remain below 7. If homocysteine is elevated, regardless of B12 levels, increase B12 intake. If liver consumption is not feasible, supplement with a methylated multi-B vitamin and/or sublingual methylcobalamin (methylated B12). Allow the sublingual dose (2000-2500 mcg daily for the first month) to dissolve under the tongue for at least five minutes before swallowing. Monitor B12 levels as described above and adjust accordingly. When testing B12 levels, discontinue B vitamin and B12 supplementation for approximately one week prior to the test to avoid artificially elevated results. Supplemental B vitamins can also interfere with other blood tests, particularly B7 (biotin). 3) Light Optimization and Circadian Rhythm: Optimize vitamin D levels and circadian rhythm by exposing yourself to direct sunlight for 30 minutes each morning, looking towards the sun (but not directly at it). Refrain from wearing sunscreen, sunglasses, or corrective lenses during this time. Direct, unfiltered sunlight exposure on as much skin as possible, including the eyes, is crucial, and multiple exposures throughout the day are beneficial. Minimize exposure to screens and artificial blue light, especially in the evenings. Wear blue-light-blocking glasses when using electronic devices or under artificial light after sunset. Remember that MS prevalence decreases closer to the equator; emulate these conditions as much as possible. Maximize vitamin D absorption by delaying showering for at least six to eight hours after sun exposure. Vitamin D is produced in the skin's sebum and can be washed away, particularly with soap. Absorption can take up to 48 hours, so allowing at least six to eight hours is essential. Vitamin D3 can also be obtained from wild-caught fatty fish and grass-fed animal fats. Monitor vitamin D levels six weeks from commencing the protocol, aiming for the high end of the normal range or preferably above. While supplemental vitamin D3 with K2 is an option, natural sunlight exposure and proper diet is preferred. Take repeat blood tests every 6-8 weeks in order optimize these levels and maintain them there. Once stabilized with your current diet +/- supplementation, you can can extend this period to once every 6 months. 4) Physical Activity: Maintain an active lifestyle. Nerve stimulation promotes growth and repair. Engage in as much activity as possible, gradually increasing intensity each week. As tolerated, incorporate resistance training and, if possible, sprinting. If walking is all you can do though, then walk. If not, then work your way up to walking. Important Considerations: Underlying Principles: This protocol addresses the root causes of MS and provides the resources and stimuli for tissue repair. The dietary and light hygiene modifications aim to halt further damage. The specified nutrients and light exposure provide the building blocks for repair, while exercise and light stimulate regrowth. The Crucial Role of Light: One example of the beneficial nature of light is UVA exposure. UVA light directed into the eyes (without glasses or other filters), stimulates the production of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which promotes brain growth, healing, and myelin repair. Proper light hygiene offers numerous benefits beyond BDNF stimulation, but it would be well worth it even if this were the only one. By adhering to this comprehensive protocol, individuals with MS can potentially achieve significantly improved outcomes compared to standard care. For the best results, ensure you are receiving proper medical supervision, particularly with regard to supplementation, blood work, and medications. Do not stop any medications until or unless it is appropriate to do so under medical supervision. *Always work closely with your healthcare provider when implementing any new interventions or protocols. #ms #multiplesclerosis #carnivore

The Puyallup School Board meeting saw many parents come out to speak on the many failures of the district. There are two boys claiming to be girls at Emerald Ridge High School. The two boys are using the girls’ locker room daily, despite the complaints by the girls’ of Emerald Ridge. These two boys are also on the girls’ wrestling team, and one of the boys allegedly s3xually assaulted a girl from Rogers High School….during a wrestling match! At Emerald Ridge High School there is also a male teacher who claims to be a woman. The many students of Emerald Ridge are gaslit every day as they are required to refer to this man as if he is a woman. This male teacher, Mr. Goralski, often comes to the school board meetings to defend everything “trans.” I was surprised he didn’t show up to the February 17th Puyallup School Board meeting. I guess Mr. Goralski couldn’t think of a “trans”-positive way to spin the very public (alleged) s3xual assault by a “trans” identifying male student. Then, of course, there’s the missing 16 year old that was groomed by the Puyallup School District into believing she is “non-binary” or some other variation of “trans.” That poor girl has been missing since early December and her family is desperate to bring her home. Here are my comments to the Puyallup School Board, with more comments from others coming soon. (I just need to get the videos captioned.) Thank you, Brandi Kruse , for working so hard at shining the brightest light on the truth, so everyone can see. We can’t allow these things to languish in silence.

Full victory speech of The Green Party's Hannah Spencer who wins the Gorton and Denton by Election: 14,980 - Greens 10,578 - Reform UK 9,364 - Labour "Okay. with me because this is a lot" "I didn't grow up wanting to be a politician. I'm a plumber" "And two weeks ago, during all this, I also qualified as a plasterer" "Because even in chaos, even under pressure, I get things done" "I am no different to every single person here in this constituency. I work hard. That is what we do" "Except things have changed a lot over the last few decades. Because working hard used to get you something" "It got you a house, a nice life, holidays. It got you somewhere" "But now? Working hard? What does that get you?" "Because talk to anyone here and they will tell you, the people who work hard but can't put food on the table, can't get their kids school uniforms, can't put their heating on, can't live off the pension they worked hard to save for, can't even begin to dream about ever having a holiday, ever "Because life has changed" "Instead of working for a nice life, we're working to line the pockets of billionaires" "We are being bled dry" "And I don't think it's extreme or radical to think working hard should get you a nice life" "And I don't think that if you're not able to work that you should still have a nice life" "I think that absolutely everybody should get a nice life" "And clearly, I'm not the only person who thinks that" "Because I've made clear my position and my commitment to working class communities, the community that I am from" "People in their thousands told me on the doorsteps and at the ballot box, that what we are sick of is being let down and looked down on, that we are sick of our hard work making other people rich" "I lived in this constituency at one of the most difficult and challenging periods of my life" "I saw how strong the community was at holding things together" "But I saw how much harder life is when the things around you are broken, the litter, the fly-tipping, the dirty air" "And when I moved, it became even clearer. And this is why I am fighting for the community that I lived in and that I still work in" "Because I absolutely refuse to accept that we should ever have to move and leave our our communities for good schools, a thriving high street, and clean air. And I will not accept a society where having more money gets you a longer life expectancy" "And so when it came to fighting for people here, to stand in this election, well, how could I not fight? Because here, this is what we do" "We fight for each other in this very diverse constituency, where our struggles might not always be the same, but where we know how hard life can be and we stick together" "Whatever our beliefs, our backgrounds, our color, or our level of education, we stick up for each other" "And to those who voted for me, I know that earning your trust starts now" "One vote on one night is not something I will take for granted or assume will happen again" "I will earn your trust" "And to those who didn't vote for me, I will always work hard for you, and I will always be honest, and I will always be decent" "To our Muslim communities, who this week suffered an attempted attack during Ramadan, whilst I was being welcomed by women at a mosque in Longsight, someone just down the road walked into a mosque carrying an axe" "And whilst we were gathered and eating together, an act of terror could easily have taken place" "And I can't and won't accept this victory tonight without calling out the politicians and divisive figures who constantly scapegoat and blame our communities for all the problems in society" "My Muslim friends and neighbors are just like me, human" "And of course, to our White working class communities, the background that I have become so proud to be from" "We know how it feels to be looked down on, maybe because we didn't do well at school, maybe because we do dirty manual jobs, because we are shut out of places we should be in" "To people here in Gorton and Denton, who feel left behind and isolated, I see you and I will fight for you" "Because whilst our communities may sometimes be labeled in different ways, the thing everyone seems to have underestimated here, especially over the last few weeks, is how similar we all actually are. How we have common ground, how we get along, how we stand up for each other" "The cracks that were starting to show can be healed, and I believe that it is through offering people hope and a chance to do things differently and do things better" "Now to my customers, I'm sorry, but I think I might have to cancel the work that you have booked in, because I'm heading to Parliament" "And when I get there, I will make space for everyone doing jobs like mine. We will finally get a seat at the table" "And to Layla, the little girl who had the pleasure of meeting and holding this week, I promised you I would try and improve the world that you are growing up in. I told you that I am not perfect, but that I always try my best" "I always try and do the right thing" "Now something exciting is definitely happening and I invite you all to be part of it" "Come and join the Green Party so that we can spread hope and win everywhere across the country" "Our strength will grow as more and more of us come together. We have shown that we don't have to accept being turned against each other" "We can demand better without hating each other. We can do that together" "We ran a hopeful campaign backed by thousands of volunteers and activists" "We defeated the parties of billionaire donors" "We have shown that we don't have to accept being turned against each other at all, and we did this with the people who live here side by side, shoulder to shoulder, just as we have always done in this constituency and in the whole of Greater Manchester. Because this is is Manchester and we do things differently here" "Thank you so, so much to everybody" "Thank you"

What a beautiful, laid-back year. I worked and rested in equal measure, I laughed hard and loved hard. And I travelled! I ate croissants in Paris, ate too much cheese in Amsterdam, had amazing fish in Mozambique, swam at the edge of the Victoria Falls, had ice cream in Zambia, lunch in Botswana, coffee in Kenya and bitterballen in Den Haag. I fell in love with windmills and canals, trains and bicycles, and enjoyed European winter. Netherlands was a second home 😍 And I finally explored Cape Town like a tourist and went home every chance I got. And I went to the gym, hiked Lion’s Head religiously and went to church. And my career catapulted. I wouldn’t even know where to begin expressing my gratitude because it wasn’t just hard work, it was my seniors at work vouching for me, motivating for me and dropping my name in high places. It was my postgraduate students working hard and cooperating. It was my supervisor saying: “I feel like I photocopied myself in you.” And her pushing me in her footsteps -Guiding me on Funding, Ratings, Publications, Patents, Roping me into high-value projects and mentoring me like a mother. I got ALL the fundings I applied for. Like all of them said YES. I’m still speechless. I got NRF rated (Super huge for my career). I was granted a patent for the nanocomposite I produced during my PhD by South Africa, UK and USA, and the university poured funds into me moving to commercialisation (This happened after I wrote an email to the VC one 3 am. I woke up regretting how ‘harsh’ I had sounded and wanted to walk up to his office and ask him to delete the email before reading it - Long story 💀 But turns out I had just been assertive and not rude, so yay! “Sign here, here and here.”) In all the cities I went to this year, I wrote the way I think - endlessly, deeply and utterly silly sometimes. I wrote my heart out and fought hard against impostor syndrome. I finally published my 6th novel, made progress on The y in your man is silent 3, finished my other novel (Lelani), finished my non-fiction book (about my childhood) and wrote my novel (The Praying Mantis) on my Facebook page. And I got the Outstanding Author award, making me a Multi-award winner… It meant the world! I also finally stopped focusing on the next goal and slowed down. I savoured every moment as it happened and was present in real life. I looked out of airplane windows, went to spas regularly and drank a lot of tea. I also stopped trying to lose weight and ate my heart out. This year, I gave myself the love and kindness I give other people, and I was very gentle with myself. Through it all, God carried me and loved me as if I was His only creation. And I made many connections on and offline. And as always, I enjoyed Twitter a LOT. All that made the year so so beautiful 😍 Also refurnished my house and renovated just nje for no reason at all 🤭 Oh, and I LOVED and allowed myself to be LOVED 😍 And I took many pictures of innuendos 🤭🤣 Chilling and working just enough has been fun, but resting is over. Next year, we go hard!💪 The best is yet to come 🤞✨
