This is just marketing profiting on users which don't have enough information. In 3D printing, the dimensional error comes from at least 3 sources: 1 the motion system 2 extrusion width 3 thermal shrinkage Out of these 3, on modern machines the thermal shrinkage is by far the

But they look like shit using the default profiles This was on a h2d 0.2 layer height on a 0.4mm nozzle. Outer wall speed had to be halved to make it look good. Calibration on filament was ran.

We did not discover oil. We discovered good government. Every day, our sister nation Guyana is changing. Massive highways. Bridges. New buildings rising in Georgetown. And why? Because they discovered oil. But what about Jamaica? We didn’t discover oil. Yet we are building. We are transforming. Roads, housing, water systems, schools, logistics hubs, urban centres. What did we discover? We discovered good governance. The kind of leadership that turns limited resources into lasting development. That brings accountability, discipline, vision, and results. That turns every dollar into real value for the people. I know some people treat politics like football. You support your side no matter what. But I urge you, do not treat your vote like a football team. The consequences are too great. When you choose a government, you are choosing your future. Some will tell you government doesn’t matter, yet in the same breath, they ask to be government. Some say crime fell by chance, but claim they could reduce it more. Which is it? Look around you. The work is visible. The progress is real. This is not empty faith. It is evidence-based belief. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not yet seen. We have given you both. So I say to every Jamaican, in your home, on your phone, in your community, think carefully. Think about what has been done, and who has done it. Do not gamble your future on emotion or slogans. Choose wisely. Choose vision. Choose results. Choose Jamaica.

This is big. NVIDIA and Apple just unlocked the next level for Vision Pro with CloudXR. Here’s what you need to know: It streams from a PC or the cloud directly to your Vision Pro. No cables. Up to 4K at 120fps. The technology is called dynamic foveated streaming. Your eyes only see in full resolution at the center of your gaze. CloudXR tracks exactly where you’re looking and delivers maximum resolution there. Everything in your periphery gets optimized. The stream stays efficient without you ever noticing a difference. Why does this matter? Vision Pro is already the most advanced spatial computer ever made. But standalone processing has a ceiling. There are workflows that need more compute than any headset can carry. CloudXR removes that ceiling by connecting Vision Pro to the full power of NVIDIA RTX in real time. This is not a workaround. It is a native visionOS integration. Also worth knowing. Gaze data never leaves your device. Not to the app. Not to the server. Developers get the full performance benefit of foveation without ever touching your raw eye tracking data. Privacy built into the architecture. Three industries are already on this: Kia, Rivian, and Volvo are running 1:1 scale design reviews with photorealistic accuracy. Full size vehicle models evaluated in spatial computing before a physical prototype exists. That is a fundamental shift in how design works. Foxconn is walking factory floors digitally, optimizing facilities before construction begins. Switch is managing data center infrastructure through a full digital twin. Companies using this approach are reporting up to 30% improvement in development processes. And sim enthusiasts finally get to cut the cord. iRacing and X-Plane 12 are the first titles. Full GeForce RTX power, streamed wirelessly to Vision Pro, inside your physical space. For developers: one Xcode template, one codebase, deployed across Vision Pro, iPhone, and iPad. And multiple headsets can share the same streamed environment at once. Some fully immersed, others on a tablet. That collaborative layer is what enterprise has been asking for. Coming this spring with visionOS 26.4. It’s wild to think about what this unlocks. The future of spatial computing is incredibly bright. Live from GTC. More coming soon.

Elon Musk just measured your existence by how many times your atoms have been inside a dying star. Musk: “How many times have your atoms been at the center of a star? I think it’s like on average three or four times.” Every atom in your body has already survived the core of a star. Multiple times. Crushed under pressures that would flatten planets. Superheated to millions of degrees. Blown apart in explosions so violent they forged new elements. Then gravity pulled those scattered pieces back together. New stars formed. And the cycle repeated. For 13.8 billion years, your atoms have been fuel for the most violent process in the universe. And they are not done. Musk: “In terms of existence as measured by the number of times your atoms will be at the center of a star, we seem to be roughly halfway.” Halfway. Your atoms have been through the furnace three or four times. They will go through three or four more. But right now, in this impossibly thin sliver between cycles, those atoms are doing something they have never done before. They are conscious. For billions of years before you, they burned through stellar cores with no awareness. No memory. No sense of what they were or where they had been. After you, they will return to that state. Unconscious matter drifting through space until the next star claims them. This is the only moment in their entire journey where they can look back at the stars that made them and understand. Musk: “If you want to look at the big picture… that’s the really big picture.” The big picture is not that we are small. Everyone already knows that. The big picture is that we are temporary witnesses to a process that does not need witnesses. Stars do not need observers to burn. Atoms do not need anyone to understand where they have been. The universe ran for billions of years with no one in it. It will run for billions more after the last conscious thing disappears. But right now, matter is examining itself. That has never happened before in 13.8 billion years. You are not a person who happens to contain ancient atoms. You are ancient atoms that briefly figured out how to think. The universe did not design consciousness. It designed stars. Consciousness was the accident. And the accident is half over.

🚨 Donate urgently to feed families in Gaza 🚨 Donate now: Tonight in Gaza… Some parents have had to make the hardest decision any mother or father could ever face: Which child will eat first… because there simply isn’t enough food for everyone. At Project Mohammed, we distributed simple meals of rice and meat to displaced families. For many children… it was not lunch. It was the only food they would receive today. Some held their plates with both hands… eating slowly… as if trying to make every bite last a little longer. But hunger always returns. And each day, it comes back even more cruel than the day before. The reality has become more heartbreaking than ever. There is less food today than yesterday. There are fewer donations than last week. And thousands of families are approaching the moment when they will have absolutely nothing left to cook. 💔 Children are no longer asking for toys. They ask, “Is there anything to eat?” 💔 Mothers tell their children, “I’m not hungry.” while their own stomachs have been empty for days. 💔 Fathers leave their tents pretending to search for food… simply because they cannot bear watching their children cry from hunger. Tonight… many families will go to sleep with nothing to eat. Not because they chose to. But because there is nothing left to cook. In Gaza today… a small plate of rice with a few pieces of meat is no longer just a meal. It has become the thin line between a child having the strength to wake up tomorrow… or growing weaker as hunger takes its toll. Every donation becomes a meal. Every meal gives a child another chance to survive. 🤍 Deep thanks to everyone standing with Gaza: Eyup (Eyup Lovely) Felix (GoliathFan1952) William Menaker (Will 🦥 Menaker) Thomas (@iwasnevrhere_) Please don’t let this post pass without making a difference. Share it with others. Your voice can reach people we never could. Your donation could put food into the hands of a hungry family. Every share gives this appeal another chance to reach someone willing to help. Every donation becomes a meal. Every meal reminds a family in Gaza that they have not been forgotten. 👉 Donate now:

Marc Andreessen on the 3 things he looks for when investing in a startup The first thing Marc Andreesen looks for is a big market: “Is there a big existing market that you think you can go after and displace incumbents? Or do you believe there will be a new market that will be big?” The second thing he looks for is a 10x better product: “Is there a fundamental technology or economic change that justifies a new company? And the way I always think about that is: Is there a 10x change happening in the technology landscape? Is something 10x faster, 10x cheaper, or 10x better? If it’s not 10x, we as both VCs and entrepreneurs have to ask ourselves if it’s really worth doing because it’s really hard to start new companies . . . Existing companies are usually pretty good at what they do. So for a new company to exist, it has to bring a product to market that’s so much better than what exists that it punches through the status quo.” The third is the team: “Is the team outstanding? . . . You want to have a founding team of complementary skillsets. You want to have at least one super strong technologist — quite possibly more than one. Some of the best startups are actually more than one founding technologist. And then it often helps to have someone who is a marketing or salesperson who has a really good understanding of business.” Marc believes that you need all three of these, but if you’re going to compromise on one of those as an investor, it should be the product: “A great market is a lot easier to make up for with iterative product execution. The problem with a poor or small market is that even if you do a good job on the product, there just aren’t that many customers so it’s hard to ever get big and people get demoralized . . . And then we evaluate the team of a startup by its ability to get into a big market with a good product.”

What's the Difference Between a No-Hitter and a Perfect Game? Most people think a no-hitter and a perfect game are basically the same thing. They’re not. Here’s how rare they are: There have been over 330 no-hitters pitched in MLB history. But there have only been 24 perfect games. This jersey belongs to the man who threw one of those 24 perfect games and quite possibly the scariest man to ever throw one. The Big Unit. Randy Johnson. Yes, he’s the same guy that threw a pitch that hit a bird flying across home plate. "The Big Unit" retired all 27 batters, striking out 13 on 117 pitches. At 40 years and 256 days old, Johnson broke Cy Young's record to become the oldest pitcher to throw a perfect game. Ok, so he retired all 27 batters in order, 3 up, 3 down in each of the 9 innings. No hits or walks, or errors. No one reached base for any reason. That’s the difference. A no-hitter means the pitcher gave up no hits (meaning that if they do hit the ball, it gets caught, or the runner gets thrown out at first base so then it does not count as a hit. Now, in a no-hitter, batters can still reach base on walks, errors, or hit-by-pitches. A perfect game means nobody reaches base at all. 27 up, 27 down. Good night, Charlie. Zero chances to score a run. #Baseball #MLB #PerfectGame #NoHitter #RandyJohnson #SportsFacts DISCLAIMER: We do our best to research every story we share — but facts, sources, and memories aren’t always perfect.
