Pascal intelligence is more impressive than anything I have seen in the field... Commercial building, 22k sqft, 47 scans (<2h w/ 2 people with just iPhone pros!!!!), 2h harness run → every pipe, electrical, structural element: captured & understood. Only thing... it uses a lot of tokens 😅

Just a few hundred million points earlier

Behind the scenes 📸

😆

Crushing it 🔥

And just getting started brother!

How much?! Come on, say it!

Two people with iPhone Pros mapping a 22k sqft building down to the electrical in a day is wild. The cutaway even splits observed vs inferred components, which is the honest part.

I walked that building myself 2h is still a lot we need some robot dogs to do that lol

Hard work and impressive! LOL wouldn't you prefer a robot more like R2D2?

😍 just wow

🙌

Insane 🤯

The scan still reads the pipes

Our harness infers from a bunch of building context beyond the scans, like building construction year, codes, permits etc...

Use AI to Build the engine for the output not use AI to build the output once

pascal should distinguish observed geometry from inferred geometry. a plausible pipe isn't the same as a captured one.

That's right and very important visual feedback and meta data yo add to the scene graph. It's on the roadmap 🫡

what kind of scan did it require for electrical / pipe?

Insane! the bonus part is that you made your 10k footsteps a day. Let's make Pascal Go and scan them all 🤠

47 scans in under 2h is wild. how much of "every pipe" is what the iPhone actually saw, and how much is the model filling in what's inside the walls?

That’s hot 🔥

👌

How can it accurately map Mep? What ground truth.

We actually just look at visible parts and then based on a bunch of additional context (such as construction year, building codes, permit history, and a ton of other sources and feedback), we infer the MEP

So cool! The instax6 is supposed to be a monster for this stuff as well. I’ve been wanting to get lidar for self leveling topographic maps

Hmm, I see deep value in a homeowner doing this...attach this stuff to the land registry so when a sale is made, the buyer knows everything about the house setup.

How much did it cost, how many man hours and how much can you charge?

Scanning was fairly quick, like 2h. Post processing was autonomous. It most token costs, lots of optimization opportunities there

iPhone and lidar ?

iPhone Pro yes
