Today, I welcomed a bipartisan delegation of the United States Congress. I am grateful for this visit following a very powerful and critically important decision for us. The people of Ukraine were counting on this decision. We are glad that the United States remains with Ukraine, that it remains our main powerful ally. We discussed military macro-financial support and military assistance, including the need for artillery shells, long-range missiles, electronic warfare equipment, UAVs, combat aviation, and support in developing the Ukrainian defense industry. We also talked about the confiscation of Russian terrorists’ frozen assets, support for Ukraine on its path to NATO, security commitments, Ukraine’s Peace Formula, and U.S. participation in the first inaugural Peace Summit.

We discussed efforts toward a just and lasting peace, as well as measures needed to protect Ukraine. In particular, strengthening air defenses, supplying artillery systems and shells, and investing in our weapons production. We also spoke about the importance of involving as many countries and international organizations as possible in the Civil Protection Shelter Coalition and Finland's participation in Ukraine’s reconstruction. Today was a long day, with many events, and a lot of news. Long discussions... The Peace Formula, security issues, our joint capabilities to protect the principles and goals of the UN Charter, to protect nations from aggression. I called on the leaders and states of Africa to participate in the Global Peace Summit we are preparing. Ukraine will be heard all over the world, and we will involve the whole world in the implementation of the Peace Formula.

New security agreements for Ukraine provide more strength and opportunities for protecting our people. Three more robust documents enshrining long-term support for our people were signed with Spain, Belgium, and Portugal. Cooperation in defense, clear support for Ukraine's EU and NATO accession, as well as cooperation in engaging the widest possible range of world leaders in the Global Peace Summit. In total, 12 security agreements have already been signed, securing over $23 billion in military and financial support. We thank our partners and everyone who believes in Ukraine. We thank everyone who supports our fight for independence!

I held a meeting with the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil, his deputies, and committee chairs. We are grateful for the support of our European integration. Ukraine is ready to open the first negotiation clusters as part of its EU accession talks. We hope that the unity and determination of EU countries will help make this happen as soon as possible. We discussed durable peace, the need for a full and unconditional 30-day ceasefire, and additional pressure on Russia until lasting silence begins. We are counting on Czechia. I thank the Senate for adopting 9 resolutions in support of Ukraine and for its contribution to advancing the International Crimea Platform.
