Cockroach is Back Abhijeet Dipke shared an edited version of the video. In the original footage, elephants are clearly visible at the end. During the procession, the central decorated elephant carries the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari in a 750 kg Golden Howdah. The Jamboo Savari tradition dates back to 1610, during the reign of Raja Wadiyar I, and has been held every year on Vijayadashami for over 400 years.

The cultural context of Dasara is distinct, and Kambala is a separate tradition with its own identity. I believe it is not appropriate to link every event to Dasara.
