I think it’s the song choice that makes it. You can have a concept for a hype video, but man you gotta have the right song.

The sound design for the final shootout in COP LAND is exceptional. A perfect mix of deafened silence, ringing in the ear, Shore's score and gunshots. Tremendous work 🎬

It's the mark of a great singer how he hits the high notes, with generally perfect pitch, live, after so many years. No auto-tune, no studio effects, no nonsense. Respect. And the drummer is exceptional!

Open Range is so much better than I remembered. I wrote about this earlier this week after just learning about Robert Duvall’s passing, but I just gave this a rewatch today & Duvall & Kevin Costner are perfect casting together. The filmmaking here is exceptional. Duvall thrives.

Mike Johnson: "We're so excited for the exceptional leadership, for the vision of President Trump to do this. I can't wait to tell everybody about Form 45-47. If we could only put an exclamation point at the end of the form number that would be perfect."

Tom Cruise Week is underway & in full effect, which is the perfect opportunity for me to remind you all that Cruise is sublime in Edge of Tomorrow. This is an outlier film from 2014 that’s aged so, so well, not just because of Cruise’s performance or his chemistry with Emily Blunt, but because the story here is really original & the action is exceptional. If you need something to watch to fire you up for #Digger & a new Cruise performance, Edge of Tomorrow is never a bad call.

"dominant or photo finish win?" 🆑️: that's complicated. what drives me and what i love so much in this sport is the emotion. and i think the emotion is always bigger when it happens on the last corner of the last lap. it's exceptional! but then, winning by a big margin means you've done everything perfect, and that helps for the next races, knowing you might have an advantage over others. so it's complicated, but i'll choose the emotion and the photo finish win my heart would not handle it well 😭😭

Garry Tan says we'll see a wave of exceptional older AI-native founders: "There's going to be as many Patrick Collisons as ever, but one mega trend that we're seeing is the 35, 40, 45-year-old founder who's been around the block, built a lot of engineering." "Peter Steinberger is a perfect example of that. He's been around the block. He knows what to build." "If you take that person, suddenly there's 400 of those people. You can outperform an entire department of any Mag 7." Garry Tan Anish Acharya

Brazil v Morocco: Pre-Match Analysis I think this tie could be a perfect match-up to make for an all-time World Cup Tie. Brazil will be in a 4-3-3/4-2-4: > Front-3/4 Free to Roam > Individuality in 1v1s > Combinations and Relationism to Create > Open to Counter Attacks Morocco likely in a more disciplined 4-2-3-1: > Exceptional Right-Side (Hakimi & Diaz) > Great Structure & Stopping Counters > Break at Pace & Crosses into the Box Brazil have the individuals but Morocco might have the principles to match them. I cannot wait for this one
