Perplexity Comet is so good, just give it a task and let comet cook. I gave it access to my GitHub repo and asked it to set up a webhook to listen for push events, and it actually did it. It pulled the webhook URL from another tab, configured it correctly, selected the right event, and it worked perfectly.

Got early access to Comet on Android. Really loving the assistant mode, it’s super fast, responsive, and accurate. I can already see myself using it every day. Thank you, Perplexity team and Aravind bhai.

"For Educational Purpose Only" Comet browser is dope even as an android app, as you're witnessing in the video it is capable of full scale automation of tasks like taking online exams. I took a JEE mock test and used the assistant feature to automatically pick the correct answer and complete the test, it took some persuasive prompting to convince it though 😊. It chose the answers from multiple choices and even typed answers for several questions that were not an MCQ (last few questions), it did a pretty decent job, attempted 24 questions from 1st section, 18 correct and 6 incorrect. One question seems to have been skipped by it somehow. All in just under "12 Minutes". If you look towards the end of the video, it struggles in certain areas like it fails to click the final "submit" button a couple of times and does it the third time correctly. These are my initial impressions of the comet browser Android app, can't wait to see what it'll be capable of in the upcoming days. what do you guys think about it?, comment down your thoughts, other use cases, it's future etc... Perplexity Comet Assistant got a major upgrade yesterday. It’s now much more reliable and performs 23% better in internal tests, so I decided to put it to the test. The task was to handle my LinkedIn account, follow the CEO of Perplexity, find a specific post, and comment under it, and it nailed it in one shot. It’s navigating more like a human now, and its reasoning at each step is quite good in how it decides the next move. Comet has become really powerful.

You can just ask Perplexity Comet to generate a video for you using Veo 3 inside Gemini 🙂 You can either give a detailed prompt with steps or just keep it simple like this, both work: Comet Prompt: You have access to the Gemini interface, use it to generate a video and wait for rendering to complete. Prompt: It figures out the rest. Where to paste the prompt, whether to click the video option, everything. Pretty smart.

At least one person on my team bought a subscription within a few minutes of testing and thinks it will replace his Chrome use. A few thoughts from our team’s testing: - Research: comparable to ChatGPT, brought in good visuals - Labs (projects): generated its own images, text felt similar to Research - Voice: you know I love a good voice interface, you can tell it to pull up a link and it will do it for you - Webpage summary: big room for improvement

This is extremely promising and the best use case of Operator so far! OpenAI ChatGPT Operator is great for testing my local dev environment to see if my feature is working! Tunnel Operator to your local dev env and let it test your feature. Waiting for an API and Cursor to integrate it.

Hahaha, this is too cool. Comet, an agentic app, using the UI of another agentic app. I had Comet use Raleon - our app that automates d2c email marketing with agents. They did EVERYTHING. Planned the campaigns, generated the copy, and then designed emails.
