Perplexity Comet is so good, just give it a task and let comet cook. I gave it access to my GitHub repo and asked it to set up a webhook to listen for push events, and it actually did it. It pulled the webhook URL from another tab, configured it correctly, selected the right event, and it worked perfectly.

Perplexity Comet is awesome if you find the right use case. I am using it for many things and one of them is asking Comet to do API endpoint testing using Postman after development. Okay, first agentic trading session with placeholder done. It didn't go very smoothly unfortunately. There seems to be a bug where the Comet Assistant thinks it has filled out the Amount field, but it hasn't. Also, it kept forgetting that it was doing the trading agentically, and would switch to giving me instructions, and I had to remind it that it is my agentic trader. There's also a weird bug where it says it's going to buy one stock, but is actually navigating to a different page to buy a different stock. That being said, I'm a patient guy, and I know these are still the early days. I think I'm probably the first person to trade stocks with Comet, so I'm ready for all the bumps in the road. In the end, it did deploy close to $1,000, and built an initial portfolio - the Comet Portfolio 🦾☄️ Full video of the experience below, it took over 45 minutes to get this all rocking so grab a coffee or some popcorn and enjoy it - here's my first agentic trading session with the Comet Assistant 🔽

A new agentic browser just shipped from Perplexity and it's pretty wild. Watch this video of placeholder taking over my LinkedIn tab and taking actions on my part. Interesting UX where the tab glows blue as it's taking actions. I like the integration of agentic actions right inside the browser that I'm using versus having to fire off an OpenAI Operator request.

I gave it a crypto wallet and some USDC to make purchases with, and clawdbot went and read the agent documentation on postalform. It figured out how to draft an order with a PDF of the letter it wrote to me – then it used Stripe’s Purl cli and paid for the order using Stripe's new Machine Payments protocol. This is a huge step forward for real-world agentic task completion and commerce
