Heartbreaking

So much plastic on the beach near Bude this morning - and bits of rope too. Just awful. 😢

Many beaches in Cornwall similarly affected in recent days I think

It's looking the same on the East Coast of Scotland ATM, very depressing!

Indeed it is - looks bad on the east coast of England too from the pictures we have seen

JFC…just imagining what all this plastic is going to the ocean ecology is breaking my heart 😢

Lego is a massive, very rich company. Why have they not taken responsibility for cleaning this up?

Does @TheOceanCleanup have any device that can gather this up quickly. It's badly needed.

@TheOceanCleanup Debris floating in tidal pools or rock pools is relatively easy to remove - picking up nurdles and microplastics from the sand is more difficult but can be done.
