@withmarbleapp I messed around with it a little bit ago and threw together a homeschool platform (updates as the taxonomy repo is updated): The taxonomy repo is such a good resource!

@withmarbleapp it's time for us to meet up and hang out while playing with demos

@withmarbleapp It would be really cool if you could create some sort of decision tree of what tools to use in which situations based on your experiences. You invest a lot of time in looking at these, I'd love to see your thoughts in an organized fashion.

forked that for my 7yo homeschooler and using @_MathAcademy_ still as primary. it's a bit dry though. hacked a remarkable tablet for some ink math exercises and he's grok building his own math games. basically built a game system with some boundaries and he can customize it per lesson

@withmarbleapp Trying to do this too, but for younger kids, and with play based activities set up by an adult rather than kids on a screen. Idk what I’m doing lol but feel free to try it out!

@withmarbleapp Love it!

@withmarbleapp Thats such a cool product for education!

@withmarbleapp Interesting. I suppose this is referencing skills required by the « official » curriculum in those countries. Did you find anything referencing skills for alternate curricula like Montessori, Steiner, etc ?

@withmarbleapp I did the exact same thing but for the Colombia standards and later i generate activities for ever skill according with learning schools (Montessori, Charlotte Mason, Waldrof...). You can review it here: (in the knowledge tree and later the brain).

@withmarbleapp It’s remarkable to see parents doing all this amazing stuff for your kids. I like all this, but seems so much work, wish schools did all this lol 😀

@withmarbleapp Marble's open repo is perfect for this, curious to see how your math app handles the different grade levels

@withmarbleapp math app building is my lane, built one that turns functions into sound for stem learning, won a hackathon with it fr

@withmarbleapp Enjoy that honey fraud money

This is interesting, and might I add... Instead of mapping what a child needs to know, to that which they ought to know 👉 take a 1st principles approach... Warning "controversial/contrarian" view - see a child's 🧠 is simply a dense network of neurons and these neuron regions need to be developed (bearing in mind neuroplasticity) ∴ the question(s) should revolve around this context, and as a side effect, the whole idea of "intelligence" is re-framed, as simply, how to develop neural networks? Research "Michael Merzenich" & esp. "Barbara Arrowsmith Young". * I'm happy to share a book or two, if you like. Below 👇 you'll then understand why, tuition fees are somewhat "high" to attend this "specialized" approach to schooling - it's not about the money, it's the core "contrarian" principles (FYI - I'm not endorsing, simply forwarding information which you might consider, useful) 🍀 and may your efforts with your children's learning (and neural development) be exciting, fun and rewarding (so good to see mom's who do so much for their children 🫶)

@withmarbleapp How are you deciding when to use an AI-native tool versus building your own?

@withmarbleapp Very haphazardly based on how much time I get to think and make voice notes to agents with my kids around lol

@withmarbleapp Fair enough lol

@withmarbleapp

@withmarbleapp Good food for thought if you are building on top of the Marble knowledge graph:

@withmarbleapp love seeing open source projects that are actually useful for learning 👏

@withmarbleapp Jesse the magnificent

@withmarbleapp the taxonomy repo is such a gold mine

@withmarbleapp This is AWESOME Jesse, thanks for sharing!

@withmarbleapp love this, saw it the other day too. I have an agent doing almost the same thing you said into a tool im working on for homeschooling

@withmarbleapp Scammer

@withmarbleapp Does the repo include answer keys, or do you have to verify the math yourself?
