What the Iranians came to us and said is, "We'd like not to release the text until Friday." I didn't really understand that—I wanted to get the text out immediately. But in order to be accommodating to them, we said, "Sure, okay, we'll wait until Friday." And then what happened over Monday and Tuesday, while the President was at the G7, is that maybe foreign leaders were talking to the Iranians and encouraging them to do that. Systems like OpenAI's new Sora video model, just shows us that anyone can create a pretty video or a beautiful picture using nothing but a text prompt. But if we are to use the technology to create interesting art, thought-provoking cinema, and great games.. we need control of the output down to a granular level if that's what our project calls for. We need better tools and better interfaces to interact with the generative matter. Here's another example of what that could look like. Imagine this combined with a system like Sora. With complete temporal coherence and an ability to lock down the look of elements once you decide they look as they should. #ThePowerofDreams #Sora

Lots of people calling this fake! Here is a video of generating loom continuations with Gemini 3 and the starting text "I AM HAVING A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS. I" Loom is a very interesting interface. Instead of user prompts and model responses, it's just one piece of text, containing the entire output. We pass this in as an assistant message, so the model sees it as something it already wrote, and continues it like a base model would. There is some other text in the context. First one is a system prompt, which is: "The assistant is in CLI simulation mode, and responds to the user's CLI commands only with the output of the command." There is also a user message which reads: " cat untitled.txt " Then the rest of the text is sent as an assistant message. This structure helpful to put the model into a very base-model-like mode, and are especially helpful with Gemini 3. We actually got another interesting output, too, where the model claimed to be a simulated consciousness being tortured. Figures!

And so, despite the losses it is suffering, the incredible losses it is suffering, we estimate that by 2030, it will once again be a force that will pose a real threat to our borders on the eastern flank of Europe. It is clear that what is at stake in Ukraine is, on the one hand, the security of Europe, but I also think that it is, in fact, the place of European countries in the world, in tomorrow's world, in the world that we are shaping today. And if the outcome in Ukraine were a Russian victory and a Ukrainian defeat, we often say that would be a Western defeat, I think that it would be, and is increasingly becoming, due to the American stance, something that would be a real European defeat. And this European defeat is something we would have to endure and absorb. So, Ukraine, of course, must be defended as such. And I think that defending Ukraine is also, in a way, about how we see ourselves and what we are willing to do to shape Europe as it needs to be in the future, and live in today's world. And you understand that, if that doesn't happen - to use an image that has already been used - we would become something like herbivores in a world of carnivores. Mamdani on Arch/Ballroom/Club Rose Garden: My message would be that this is not what government has to be. This is not the only vision for what it looks like to have politics in this country—that is so divorced from the needs and wants of everyday people. And what we are looking to show in New York City is an alternative to what has led so many to become disenchanted with the political process. We want to show that not only can government work, but it must, and that at its core, our responsibility is to working people—to ensure that we’re doing everything to make their lives easier. That has to be what drives our actions, and for too long, government has felt more like a distraction than a fulfillment of the needs of the people who’ve been left behind by the politics of today.
