We are seeing more empty pots in Gaza. Urgent help is needed: Across displacement camps, the community kitchens that so many families have relied on are closing as funding disappears. For hundreds of thousands of people, those meals were the only guaranteed food they would receive each day. The Sameer Project is feeling that pressure too. Our community kitchen is now operating at just 50% of its previous capacity because donations have dropped so dramatically. If support does not increase, we may be forced to cut production by another 50%, leaving even more families without a hot meal. After more than 1,000 days of devastation, this is not the time for hunger to add to the catastrophe. This clip was sent to us by a family waiting to board their bus. Over just the past week, we’ve fully funded the return journey of 60 refugee families. Dear friends, today is our ninth anniversary, we would have liked to celebrate with you and talk about beautiful things, but as you may have heard from the media, currently in Syria there are fierce clashes between rebels and the regime in several cities, Aleppo, our old and loved hometown just yesterday was the object of clashes but several people have contacted us saying that there is a shelter that has 600 partially disabled animals that have been left without any help, civilians are forbidden to move. we armed ourselves with meat and dry food and we are leaving to try to reach these animals. Will we succeed? We don't know! We will tell you this evening. Happy birthday Ernesto’s friends please celebrate our foundation because without you we would never have been able to exist, without your generosity we can do nothing, someone complained to us that they did not feel thanked enough, we are very sorry, life is becoming more and more difficult for more of us , and sometimes we think we are one family and we forget to say thank you, it is not because we are not grateful, on the contrary! thank you thank you thank you to all of you, one by one! We wish us more years together under the reign of King Maxi. Hip hip Hurrah to all us !

❤️‍🩹🫂I am feeling better today than I have on the previous days, my friends, but unfortunately, I still feel very tired, and my body and mind are so exhausted by our terrible situation. I did not yet feel well enough to visit the camp today, so the meals were distributed by my cousin, where they distributed a yellow rice dish and also some fruit juice. Things are very miserable here in 💔🇵🇸#Gaza, life is worse than hell itself. The bombings are very intense and frequent, and every day we hear of more people who have died from starvation or lack of medical attention. It is no life at all, my friends. Every day that the borders are closed to aid, there becomes less goods available to us and what's left costs so much it could make you cry, which is why we desperately need more donations if we are to continue to distribute meals for those who will starve without us. 💔I don't know what to do anymore, my friends. We are in a hopeless situation, desperately trying to stay alive and to show the world we want to stay alive. We need more of everything, every kind of aid that exists, and people are dying everywhere from every kind of miserable death you can think of. We need help for the animals, they are starving and suffering terrible diseases and need help too, they did not deserve this miserable life they are subjected to and they are trying to survive, just as we all are. This week, Attorney General Pamela Bondi and I served meals to hundreds of law enforcement in Memphis who are keeping the community safe. The daily operational cost is around $8,500-$9,000 - covering ingredients, cooking, packaging, and distribution so meals can reach those who are hungry and malnourished. Each sandwich costs less than $3 to prepare and distribute - like the kofta sandwiches you see here! A full day at capacity can produce 3,000 sandwiches to be given out to hungry families in need of assistance. Even a small contribution is a meal for a child, a parent, and elder, someone who didn’t know where their next food would come from. This is Mahmoud Madibo the tribal leader of the Rizeigat tribe who form the core of the RSF militia. He says we must keep fighting until we get our hands on Khartoum and we sit and rule this country from Khatoum. The RSF is an ethnic militia that seeks to dismantle the Sudanese State and replace it with a state run and dominated by Baggara Arab nomads from both Sudan and neighbouring countries; they have been very clear about their intentions. Meanwhile their Emirati sponsors seek to be allowed to exploit Sudan and its resources in return for providing support to the militia. Neither these agendas are remotely acceptable to the vast majority of Sudanese.

Our bakery is now closed. We are producing zero bread for families in Gaza. This is particularly difficult to come to terms with when we remember what people have sacrificed throughout this genocide just for flour. Bread equals survival. When there was nothing else to eat, Palestinians risked, and so many lost, their lives trying to bring home enough flour to feed their families. We were so proud to build something sustainable in the North: a bakery families could count on for free bread. At full operation, we distributed up to 500 bundles every day - 10 loaves each, 5,000 loaves baked, so that 500 families were able to feel some relief knowing they had at least the bare minimum to eat. And we can scale up even further to 10,000 loaves per day. The ovens are there. The bakers are there. The families are waiting. The only thing standing between a closed bakery and thousands of loaves of free bread is funding. It costs just over $1,000 per day to operate our bakery and provide around 500 families with bread. 🐾😸I'm happy to tell you that today I was able to buy more tinned tuna for the cats, and the cost was the lowest it's been in months. This is thanks to the wonderful friends who have continued their support for us, and I want to sincerely thank you all. I can't explain enough how wonderful it feels when I can feed more of the hungry cats I see around. Since the war stopped, many animals have wandered back into our streets, and they are starving and urgently need our help. They are constantly on my mind, especially at night in the cold. They barely have any body fat to keep them warm, and the nights are starting to become unbearably cold. This also makes me think of all the poor people living outside, some in tents and some without, freezing and hungry. We want to help them, my friends, please do not hesitate to donate towards our cause so we can help them and the animals too. Dear Africans. I know you think we are cowards. You think we have allowed Mnangagwa to rule with impunity. This is is what we face. We have been facing this for the past 45 years. The problem is, we have been doing it peacefully but met with live bullets. SADC & AU are OK with us being killed. A time will come when we are going to pick matchets and guns and chop each other like what happened in Rwanda. SADC and AU will condemn us as barbarians. Millions of us have left our country not because we desire to be in your countries. We cannot live under this perpetual suffocation. Now we see that South Africans are tired of us. We don't want to be in your countries. We want to be in Zimbabwe. We have asked your presidents to restrain this rabid junta led by Mnangagwa but none of them has tried. We tried elections and we all saw what happened. We are at the end of out wits. and about to snap. If any of you can convince your governments to give us guns and a forest, you will see that we are not cowards.
