@Stelfreeze Teacher go to work hours before school starts & leave hours after. They take home their work. They use their own money on supplies. & still have to get a summer job because they are paid so little.

Agree! 🫶 Teachers aren't paid enough in #California. I'd know - many of my former employees quit their former job as a (elementary, high school, university) #teacher and worked in high tech (as developers, program managers, engineering managers, etc.). #PayTeachers

Chicago public school teachers earn more than >60% of Chicagoans. They are getting paid what they deserve. If salary was based on performance, they are grossly overpaid.

I am a teacher and it not for everyone but I love my job the money would be really nice !!!

@evanFmoore How are we defining “deserve,”? And who’s paying for that “deserved,” salary? The tax payer? The same tax payer who is paying higher energy bills? The same tax payer spending $9 a gallon for milk? The same same tax payer who is living under a hyper inflated economy?
