Please be careful when entering dark, moist areas. Hurricane Melissa has displaced a lot of wildlife across Jamaica, including large centipedes. A giant centipede hid in a follower’s underwear after using the restroom and bit her in a very sensitive area. Protected species are being trapped openly, proudly, and without any fear or respect for the law. Look how these birds are crammed into this cage. If this doesn’t make you angry, I don’t know what will. Please report these activities to NEPA and the JCF immediately. I am calling on the Government to properly support these agencies with the staffing and resources they need to tackle these problems that existed long before the hurricane and continue now.
