You can make your toothpaste at home by mixing 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon (or crush one or two tablets) activated charcoal, and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Mix well and use it as a toothpaste daily. This paste does wonders!

Regular toothpaste causes plaque buildup requiring you to go to the dentist for a “cleaning” every 6 months. I drink a lot of coffee & had stains for years. Switched to homemade (unrefined coconut oil, baking soda, Celtic salt) Stains came off and never came back. Haven’t been to the dentist in 3 yrs-never going back. I recommend couple of drops of clove oil & peppermint oil in the mixture. My teeth are clean - no plaque and no stains.

I use baking soda, coconut oil and a few other ingredients if I want more abrasion or to thicken out the consistency. I stay away from artificial sweeteners such as stevia and xylitol.

Solaris looks good, but when I saw the ingredients on the brand that he is holding up it has sesame seed oil. IMO seed oils causes inflammation. Not sure why they don't stick with coconut or olive oil instead

I find baking soda to be a versatile wonder! I use it to whip up my own toothpaste! To keep it as pure and healthy as possible, I make sure to choose food-grade, steering clear of any unwanted additives. This one is definitely a winner in my book!

On a whole food animal based diet you dont even have to brush your teeth as often and dont need tooth past most of the time. Try it, you will directly see what I mean after a few days.

@KathyFriesen1 My mom and siblings used baking soda and water and rinsed their mouths out with water after. That was during the depression. My mom left this life with all her teeth.
