Your hazard perception is terrible. Why place yourself inside a long vehicle when it has to turn right? Once he knew you were there he gave you a wide space so can could pass safely, but that too is apparently wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️

Did you note what the cyclist behind you did? They stayed behind and put themselves in complete vision of the driver. Did the drift out to the right lane happen as a response to your horn? The bus in front took a similar tight line through the initial part of that junction.
