Founder of The Poké Court Courtney Chin said thieves grabbed more than $100,000 worth of items. While the incident was jarring, she said she's glad nobody was injured. Every Pokémon Go player unknowingly trained future robots. Over the years, players photographed 30 billion images from cities around the world. And now that data is teaching delivery robots to navigate streets. Niantic (company behind Pokémon Go), spun out an AI company called Niantic Spatial that's turning years of player data into a visual positioning system for machines. When 500 million people installed the game and pointed their phones at buildings, landmarks, and street corners, they were also capturing detailed location data that normal GPS can't match: > GPS signals bounce off skyscrapers and lose accuracy by up to 50 meters in dense cities. > That's a dealbreaker for sidewalk delivery robots that need to stop at exactly the right point. > Niantic Spatial trained a model on those 30 billion images to pinpoint a robot's exact location based on what its cameras see, not satellite signals. > Delivery startup Coco Robotics is the first partner, using the system to guide thousands of robots across LA, Chicago, and Miami. NEW: Professional baseball team 'York Revolution' turns on their players after they were forced to forfeit after the players refused to wear LGBT jerseys for 'Pride Night.' The Pennsylvania team threw their players under the bus for refusing to put on the gay uniforms. "To be clear, this action by the players is completely inconsistent with our vision as the Most Welcoming Place in York," the team said in a statement. The team's forfeit comes after the MLB issued a warning after San Francisco Giants players wrote Bible verses on their gay hats. Glad to see players are finally standing up to this radical cult.

DEA agents seized the largest amount of meth in recent history in New York City. They discovered 300 pounds of crystal meth worth $1 million. When agents first opened a tractor trailer in Brooklyn, it appeared to be filled with boxes of papayas. But, agents said, the smugglers sawed compartments into the wooden pallets to conceal the packages of drugs. The agents involved said they've traced the drugs from where they were discovered in Brooklyn, all the way down to Sinaloa, Mexico, where the Sinaloa drug cartel operates. The agents said it's proof that meth is making a resurgence. New York City is a drug hub for the Northeast and federal agents believe the drugs were going to be sold throughout the area. We need to take from the white family and give to the black family” Brookerteejones makes another great point “Many black people live in subsidized housing in New York City. If they make too much money, they'll be kicked out of their subsidized housing, so they want to make a certain amount so they continue to live in their subsidized housing. If we're talking about how much people make on their race, why don't we look into the NBA team there in New York City? How much do the black players make versus the white players? And how many more black players are on the team than white players? Hmm. Maybe he should look into that and maybe throw a little bit of Asian basketball players on the NBA team.
