This is why watching raw game film is important, instead of just watching highlights So we don't over-hype a prospect & can make more accurate evals This was all just in the first 7 mins of the game - vs a mid major team: -Loses ball out of bounds on a drive -Misses a box out, his man then gets offensive rebound & scores -Turns it over again, resulting in Abilene Christian layup He's a very good prospect but watching the raw game film rather than just the highlights is key 🤝

🚨 Ben Stokes explains the difficult decision to move on from James Anderson 🎙️ " Jimmy is undoubtedly the greatest fast bowler we've ever produced, and probably will be for a very long time. What you and he achieved in terms of longevity is just incredible. We asked Jimmy to come in. I was actually supposed to be in America, but I couldn't get my visa, so I thought, "Well, I'm in Manchester, so I'll come and do it as well." ( About Conversation) It was a tough conversation because Jimmy was still a top-class bowler. But we were looking to build a bowling attack for Australia, and we just didn't feel that Jimmy was going to be part of those plans. Rather than holding onto Jimmy and then going to Australia without him anyway, we wanted him to leave the game on terms that felt right to him. I'm sure there was resentment. I'm sure there was disappointment because it wasn't an easy thing for someone who's done so much for the game to hear. But the game moves on from people. Just because Jacob (or anyone for that matter) has never seen a player get FT’s off a loose ball foul during a jump ball, doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. Here are just a couple recent examples I’m sure Wolves & Nuggets fans will remember. Vid #1: This season, MIN vs DEN, tie game, 19.5 sec left in 2OT. McDaniels grabs Jokic’s right arm, and pulls it down, preventing Jokic from competing for the Jump Ball. McDaniels is correctly called for a LBF, and Jokic attempts Bonus FTs. (Attached below is the NBA L2M Report for this play as well, so we can see why it was graded as a Correct Call (CC)) Side Note: If you didn’t see this 2OT MIN vs DEN game from April 1, you should go watch it. Jokic had a 61pt triple double in their loss, and Ant, NAW, & Randle were spectacular as well. Vid #2: Last season, MIN vs DEN. Ant was called for a LBF on MPJ during this Jump Ball. Denver was in Bonus, so they went to the other end, and MPJ shot his Bonus FTs.

4 separate handball incidents Connor Barron- • Gets the ball hit at him and accidentally hits his arm while his body is turned • The ref doesn’t see it • Nobody claims it and the game plays on • There’s another 2 phases of play, including Aberdeen TOUCHING the ball • VAR pull it all the way back to disallow the goal Lawrence Shankland- • Intentionally controls the ball with his arm • Hearts go up the park and score • Shankland barely celebrates and openly says “it’s a handball” about 5 times • VAR “check” it and allow the goal • Then Shankland celebrates it Gogic and Trusty handballs- • After getting a penalty vs Celtic for Sterling’s “handball” they set the bar that anything going on target, hand away from the body, accidental or not, it’s a penalty. Also the fact Dundee conceded a penalty for a handball offence with a pass going away from goal the same day 😂 The ONLY thing that’s the same in all these incidents is they benefit any team up against Rangers. Don’t care if we win games etc, the blatant cheating needs called out !!!!!

Dermot Desmond making an ultra rare appearance at Celtic Park tonight for the Dundee game. Looking every part the Wacky Races villain, Dick Dastardly, I'd suggest that this was a show of strength, asserting his authority after the Brendan Rodgers episode. The only thing missing was him twiddling his moustache in a menacing manner. Interestingly (at least, to me) he made his fellow Executive members wait until all the players had ran up the tunnel before they made their way to the Boardroom. Usually, it's a case of sprinting from their padded seats as soon as the whistle blows...or, if you're Rod Stewart, sprinting up ten minutes beforehand to have first dibs at all the freebie hospitality on offer. Full video below shows him having a little chat with Michael Nicholson. From what I could see, which was albeit sporadically (when the ball was out of play etc) as I was primarily watching the game, there wasn't much interaction with Peter Lawwell. The plot thickens.

Shedeur Sanders isn’t running a 40 at the #NFLCombine —so as a former NFL Scout, I did the next best thing —I timed him running 40 yards during a game two years ago to see how fast he is. I got 5.37 seconds. I timed him with a stopwatch from his first step at the 50 until he reached the 10. What time did you get? I had to go back two years because Sanders only has one run in his 4 year college career over 40 yards on his ESPN stats page —and it was in this game when he played for FCS Jackson State vs. Southern in 2022. The record for the slowest time at the NFL Combine for a quarterback according to the USA Today is 5.37 by Ryan Mallet.

When I was in high school we called blocking with your head a “six pack” any guesses why? 😭 Watching this beach volleyball game brought it all back. This bikini model/hot mom/player absolutely launched herself at the net and crushed a spike while her teammate in the turquoise bikini went full Supergirl across the sand trying to keep the rally alive. At one point the ball came screaming back so fast it basically turned somebody’s forehead into part of the defense 💀 instant six pack. People who’ve never played think beach volleyball is all sunshine and bikinis until they actually hit the sand hard once. That sand gets in your eyes, and somehow the ball always finds the one spot you don’t want it to but you dig it out anyway. When was the last time you got six packed?

Official Statement about the "ENDED" GAME 8 of the $10,000 Ascendance Series tonight. We're looking into the issue that occurred. We understand this effected all 3 players on Team Orchid. - Hambino🏳️‍⚧️ - RamBeau - ROC sirsay And potentially griefed their win in this DAY 1 of the series. The team's winnings which could've been $750 if they won the game, were brought down to $300 as they placed 3rd in the event following another 2 matches. We understand that the game trigged an 'ended match by admin' screen, making it seem as if the game was ended by one of our admins, which is 100% wasn't. We know that for certain. Ivan nor MrFoxy who were the only two admins in the series ended the match. It was not done on accident or on purpose. We will look into this issue with the correct people and make another statement as soon as we get word on the issue. For the time being, we offer to reimburse the roster an additional $200 to round up the prize winnings to $500, as we understand they could have easily won Match 8, and it's not a small amount of money they missed out on. We understand that the game trigged an 'ended match by admin' screen, making it seem as if the game was ended by one of our admins, which is 100% wasn't. We know that for certain. Ivan nor MrFoxy who were the only two admins in the series ended the match. It was not done on accident or on purpose. We will look into this issue with the correct people and make another statement as soon as we get word on the issue.
