I don't understand how this level of FX was achieved on such a budget. They did great.

That movie is full of clever visual effects, I love it

This movie had insane FX for it's time, and they still hold up.

I just saw this movie, for the first time, a few weeks ago. Such a fun movie! I would have loved it as a kid.

I remember seeing this scene as a kid on TV in a commercial and it terrified me. Now I cam appreciate the fractal effects and the movie itself!

This scene blew my frigging mind as a teen in the theatres, was totally beyond anything I was expecting and it still holds up in 2026!

This movie gave me nightmares when I was a kid...."You have been bad"

This actually terrified me as a kid. It was on a late night double feature, which my mother always let me stay up to watch on a Friday, with the abominable Dr phibes. I was a vet by then from watching things like the thing and the exorcist so I don't know why it scared me

This movie used to freak me out when I was a kid.

I first saw this movie when I was in my 30s and I really wish I saw this as a kid because I know it would have had a big impact

This has always been one of my favorite scenes
