Ukraine greatly values its relations with Türkiye, the mutual understanding we share, and the support we receive in this extraordinary time of war. We are grateful for the warm welcome, hospitality and absolutely constructive approach in our negotiations. Today, together with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we discussed in detail the global processes that could contribute to ending Russia's war against Ukraine, including the importance of joint efforts to ensure security guarantees for Ukraine. We also talked about our bilateral relations, economic issues, cooperation between our societies in education, various projects, food security, and work on the return of our prisoners held by Russia. We are grateful to Türkiye for all the support to our country and people, for its principled stance on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state. 🇺🇦🇹🇷

Today, I received the letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassadors of Austria and Kazakhstan. I spoke with each of them. The main focus was on bilateral cooperation and support for Ukraine. We look forward to further developing partnerships between our countries. Today I was in Dnipro and held a meeting with entrepreneurs of the Dnipro region — currently the number one region in terms of contribution to Ukraine’s GDP and in many other key economic areas. I thank everyone who is preserving and creating jobs in the region, everyone who is working for Ukraine and for the benefit of Ukraine. We will continue all government programs that have proven effective and that support our production and our economy. There is still more we can do to support our industry — I’ve instructed government officials to fulfill what the entrepreneurs have asked for today. Ukraine’s results are shared results — the achievements of all those who have chosen Ukraine, who are actively working for Ukraine, and who are ready to do whatever is necessary for our country to endure and achieve its goals. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine.

The primary need is to end the war as quickly and justly as possible. Ukraine will prepare and send partners a list of needs to support our energy infrastructure and military capabilities. We are counting on their support. Attention was also given to security guarantees for Ukraine and all of Europe. We also discussed our diplomatic work and the importance of assistance to Ukraine. Support for the PURL initiative must continue, and the full potential of the SAFE instrument for joint weapons production with Ukraine must be realized. Ukrainians, along with all other Europeans, must feel secure in their future and assured that Russian aggression will never occur again. I thank our partners who understand this and help. Today, we reached an agreement on four documents between Ukraine and India, covering the medical field, agricultural cooperation, humanitarian relations, and culture. Following the visit, we also agreed on a joint statement focusing on the development of a strategic partnership, bilateral trade, and continued military-technical cooperation.
