Stephen these are *not* reciprocal tariffs. Trump is tariffing all imports. Trump is tariffing countries that place no tariff on US imports.

Well, it seems more than just lower tariffs...it is now about VAT, allowing Chinese companies to manufacture in markets like Vietnam....etc. And I imagine it will also lead to countries paying for national security protections...it seems to be shape shifting in real time

We can't have half measures. We have to send a clear message to President Trump that if he wants a fight then we will fight back." He then goes on to present Trump with an ultimatum. No wonder the President of the United States doesn't like him.
