Pretty sick sick new feature that I am specifically excited about: Android update that makes Quick Share work with Airdrop. So you can easily share files/images between Android phones and iPhones (starting with Pixel 10)

We’re on the verge of world peace

Quick Share + AirDrop compatibility might be the most practical update of the year

I give it a week before apple blocks this

Finally no more emailing files to yourself between Android and iPhone.

Please tell me that apple is aware of this. I don’t want to get all excited just for apple to block it or something

@Apple please ban this asap. Do some 2FA in the back end to it only shows iPhones. I don’t need to see non Apple stuff when I’m trying to airdrop

This tiny feature will probably move more users than half the flashy AI stuff. People just want their devices to stop acting like rivals...

BIG news 🤜🤛

World Peace

cool but let's see if it actually works seamlessly. Apple and Google collaboration usually has some friction.

Watch apple fix this with the next update 💀

How sick would it be if someone reversed engineered AirPods protocol to make all features work with Android and Linux?

that's a much needed feature for those who don't want to upgrade to an Android

SAMSUNG YOU HAVE ONE JOB

I know low key maybe high key all the android users who hate on iPhone are loving this and excited But I just can’t prove it

I never thought I'd see it, but I love it immensely! Definitely curious to see how this plays out from Apple's side of things.

FINALLY!!

whoa, new PFP!

Great collaboration with Apple and Android at least we can co-exist seamlessly by sharing files

How soon before Apple craps all over this and ruin it?

Finally. Now please do the same thing on iPhones where android phones show up.

Yay reverse engineering

Did apple assist in any way? Will they react like they did with other attempts to make things accessible to Android users?

Finally everything coming together 😺 "Google Quick share to iOS Airdrop" Seems like Apple made some other big deal with Google to allow this and don't bother much . "Maybe Gemini integration in the future ?"

FINALLY. ANDROID DROP!. They should make it cross platform now! on Apple's end

The type of photos your android mates airdrop you

That's cool and all, but have you seen iPadOS on iPhone?

The EU digital markets act forced Apple to allow this:

Next iOS update will probably fix this :/

This has been much awaited since ages! All eyes on Gemini powered siri now

Android Stans will say they had this first.

Google is cooking so much this month wtf

How long until Apple breaks this?
