I’ve opened up many of the TSL exercises to everyone! Try out some WebGPU shaders and fiddle with them, all in the browser. Pick an exercise and see if you can match the output. Link: #threejs #webgpu

New update to my #threejs Lumen Decor Studio project. Color selection behavior is ready🤩. Thanks to real-time global illumination, colors now blend naturally with sunlight, creating beautiful bounced colors everywhere. Next step: Live link #creativecoding #tsl #rf3 #webgpu

Live link: My new #archiviz project using #threejs is live. A realistic scene with 25,000 trees, various post-processing effects, running at 60 FPS, less than 10 MB download 😊. Screen space global illumination makes everything more realistic. Want to know more? Follow the thread👇🏻 #webgpu #threejsJourney

Sparse Volumetric Light maps (WebGPU). Worked on ensuring C0 continuity across the entire map. For now this is achieved by purging incomplete node levels, works well enough even if it's a bit of a blunt tool. Actual locations for probes during the bake are now going through an optimization phase, which allows me to push probes behind surfaces out into the open resulting in much fewer light leakage artifacts. This video here has only 28,376 probes in the map, and takes 1.8Mb of VRAM

Oh my! Someone uploaded a HUGE 880MB splat of Baishihu Suspension Bridge to SuperSplat. It's so big - it takes 2 minutes to speedrun end to end. Largest walkable splat yet? Rendered in-browser on the WebGPU-powered @PlayCanvas Engine. 🔥 [1 / 3]

Is there a better way to start the weekend than with a preview of what's to come in our #metaverse? Even though we are the underdog in the industry, the capabilities of our game engine has reached beyond the stars, as its stunning graphics inside your browser using WebGPU - LFG

The biggest real-world scene we've streamed in a browser yet 🌍 A slice of downtown Lublin, Poland — 250M Gaussian splats, 6 GB streamed on demand. Real-time on the PlayCanvas engine, WebGPU + WebGL. No install. Just a link 👇

🌍 What if the entire Earth could be streamed as a photorealistic 3D world? This prototype renders billions of 3D Gaussian splats directly in the browser. Powered by PlayCanvas . WebGPU + WebGL. The technology is ready. The remaining challenge is capturing the planet. 👇
