Increase the number of planes on the server. Otherwise, all the planes are taken away and it is not possible to find them on a huge map.

So I started the k-drama Climax starring Ju Ji-hoon and Ha Ji-won and yeah, this one is not here to play. From episode one, you can already tell this is going to be one of those dramas where everybody is a little bit dangerous. No clean heroes. Ju Ji-hoon’s character is Cold and Calculative. The kind of man that will look you in the eye while making a decision that ruins you and still sleep well at night. He’s not pretending to be righteous and I actually respect the drama for that. Then Ha Ji-won There’s this quiet desperation in her character very controlled. And their dynamic is definitely Not romance. Not partnership. It feels like a slow burning power struggle disguised as a relationship. That’s honestly what makes this drama interesting so far it’s not trying to sell love, it’s selling ambition, ego, and survival. The vibe is dark, Like everybody is smiling but nobody is safe. I feel like with this K-drama If you miss one small detail, you’ll be confused later because everything already feels intentional. The drama is giving that “this will get messy” energy, and I like it🤭. It’s still early but it definitely doesn’t look like one of those dramas that start strong and lose direction. If anything, it feels like it’s building towards something chaotic. Anyways If you like your K-dramas with: morally questionable characters power games and k-dramas that keep you tensed Then you may wanna check it out #climax

I’ve been experimenting with a new thesis and vision for this coming bull run: building games and experiences that build communities. Not overselling “amazing games” or pretending we’re building the next AAA title, but building cool games you can jump into when you’re bored af, have some fun, compete with others, and then leverage those games to create traction around NFT launches, token launches, and whatever else we decide to build. Our goals will grow through ambition and new available technology. In the past, 99.9% of crypto projects that promised games were a total and absolute scam. They raised millions promising AAA games and then couldn’t even deliver an OK game. Huge promises, huge raises, years of development, and in the end most of them built absolute crap. During this bear market I’ve spent over 1,000 hours vibecoding, trapped in my NASA office, learning, experimenting and developing websites, tools, and even a really nice but way too complex Roblox game. It took a ridiculous amount of time, but I learned a lot. Now I feel like all those pieces are finally coming together, and UGLY is the first step for us Efrogs to take over RH. A lot of people have been asking me about Efrogs, Efroglets, and CROAK. Efrogs and Efroglets will be back, and they will be part of this ecosystem outside Linea, just like we’re already doing with the board at The Pond Street Ledger. Their visibility will increase again, especially Efrogs. OG's never die. Regarding CROAK, I love the token to the moon and back, but right now Linea is community-dead. If Linea comes back and starts genuinely supporting communities again, I believe CROAK can come back strong too. But right now, we all see the new opportunity on RH, and I think the Efrog vibes that made our project shine: positivity, community, innovation, and always trying new stuff can work incredibly well there. So let’s bring those vibes to RH. 🐸 This week we start with something simple: go to play the game, test it, try to break it, and compete. 10 Efrogs will go to the Top 10 UGLY runners this week. Next week I’ll share the full announcement about UGLY token launch and, more importantly, the bigger vision behind what we’re building. This is only the first step. You are early on this new adventure. Frogbless y'all. 🐸

📢 New a16z request for startups: a new generation of rule-breaking gamemakers 📢 One of my biggest takeaways from 15 years of building games: the cardinal rule of game develop is that there are no permanent rules of game development! Platforms change. Player preferences shift. Technology and tools evolve. The only constant is that great games require creativity, craft, and passion. Consider some “rules” that have already been broken: - "Game experiences should be unified across the player base." This was overturned when Zynga and other social gaming pioneers began A/B testing different versions of their games. The result? More optimized, engaging experiences that ultimately benefited all players. - "Showing ads will hurt monetization." Playrix and others proved the opposite: rewarded video ads not only improved monetization but also increased retention, giving players a way to access premium content without spending money. We believe many more “rules” will be broken in the AI era—and we’re excited to back the founders who will break them. Here are just a few conventions we expect to see challenged: 1. “World-building should be uniform and consistent.” Traditionally, a consistent game world and lore have been seen as essential for strengthening IP and building enduring franchises. But what if a player wants to explore their favorite parts of a world in their own way? With AI, imaginative developers can create adaptable game worlds that players can shape—unlocking endless, personalized storylines and experiences. 2. “Don’t try to ship a game without a complete team.” Game development has historically required a multi-disciplinary team across art, design, engineering, and production. But AI-assisted tools are making it increasingly feasible for smaller teams—or even solo developers—to build compelling games. If that trend continues, what skills will matter most? We believe the most irreplaceable ones are tied to storytelling: visual style, dialogue, tone, and narrative structure. These and many other longstanding assumptions are becoming increasingly fragile as AI tools improve at a breakneck pace. If you're building infinitely adaptive games, pioneering as a solo super-storyteller, or simply believe that the next great games won’t look anything like the ones we make today—apply to Speedrun. We’d love to meet you and help support the next generation of rule-breaking gamemakers.

I miss building simple, working software. At some point, we decided to complicate everything for no reason. Today, people can't build anything without using three frameworks, 17 libraries, and a swarm of microservices. And here is a funny paradox: To understand how these complex systems work, we've had to build systems and tools that generate data we can later analyze. But the more data we produce, the harder it is to process and make sense of it. We are in the middle of an observability crisis. The tools we have are inefficient, and we don't have enough people to keep systems running. A few weeks ago, I met the team Resolve AI, and they have built a fundamentally new approach to observability and incident management: Instead of depending on humans to run a system, Resolve built a Production Software Engineer who runs the system using AI while letting people supervise. And it's not only crazy, but I think this will fundamentally change how we monitor and maintain systems in production for years to come. I recorded a quick video to showcase a simple example of how Resolve works behind the scenes. There are two main things I'd like you to notice: 1. The tool can correlate data across logs, metrics, and traces coming from different systems. You don't have to do any work to get the information that matters right in front of you. 2. (This is the big one!) The tool can diagnose what's happening and give you instructions on how to solve it. It can produce causal relationships across the entire system stack. Resolve is backed by investors like Replit's founder Amjad Masad, Reid Hoffman, Jeff Dean, Fei Fei Li, Andy Price, among others. They are currently working with a select number of companies and want to onboard a few more. If you are interested in trying them out, go to this link: Honestly, this is one of the most impressive uses of AI I've seen.

We took Erin Brockovich's map of every data center in America. Then we laid the nation's aquifers on top of it. We noticed they're not building data centers where the land is cheap. They're building them where the water is. Farmers near these facilities say their livestock have stopped falling pregnant. Residents say the humming never stops. And the projects arrive under NDAs, so most towns don't know until the ground is already broken. The question isn’t where they’re building anymore. It’s why they’re building where they’re building. Tonight, we think we can answer that question. We’ve been covering the data center issue in great detail on this broadcast, and for good reason. It’s a serious problem in America and worldwide, and it’s one that is uniting people from all sides of the political aisle because, guess what, whether you are a conservative or a liberal, you have human rights that enable you to have access to basic survival needs like water, which was given to us by God, not by the state or Big Tech, by the way. Erin Brockovich joined the data center fight recently. She launched a site including a map that shows data centers either completed, under construction, planned, or community reported, likely due to all those pesky NDAs in place stopping us from knowing they’re coming to our area. But the public isn’t stupid. So Maria thought she’d do something a little bit different. She created a series of maps using Erin Brockovich’s data center data, then superimposed aquifer maps onto those maps, then superimposed smart city locations onto those maps. What Maria found was pretty mind-blowing and, she says, lends credence to her theory that those in charge are purposely making rural areas unlivable for the purpose of pushing people into smart cities, where they will be under constant surveillance and on a short leash.
