I don't think product management is hard (or harder than other jobs) - it's just people have different expectations for the role.

I think it's incredibly hard, thankless, and long long hours. But still, is the best.

I have overseen the education of 24 product management interns from January and this conversation comes up way too often. Aside being present for them especially in the early stages, it's important to let them know their goal is to achieve clarity

I think it’s hard but not for those reasons. In the video, it sounds like big tech / faang PMing which is unnecessarily complicated. The real deal is figuring out what to build, getting the team motivated, showing value, and doing this on repeat. Everything else is just fluff.
