Even though we say we created a “company,” we just used that word because it’s easier for people to understand. But in the end, it’s not really about the company, it’s about the people. Like, who you work with. And what kind of experiences you share with them, that’s what really matters the most. So with these people, whether we go, volunteering or travel somewhere, we always move together as one group. Because if not and later on, when I write and release a song, if we hadn’t shared those experiences, I’d have to explain everything. 🐨 So sometimes when I can’t sleep, or work, or just life itself feels terrifying. It’s scary—just the act of living. There are times when the fact that this life goes on day after day feels really frightening. Because every day you have to feed yourself, you have to do things, and so life and death, the fact that morning comes and another day starts, it can feel wonderful at times, but there are also parts of life where it presses down on you, like a kind of light depression. This feeling that you have to keep doing something every single day In the end, that’s why it’s important to have your own sphere, your own beliefs, hopes, and goals. I used to think I knew what success looked like. I have 4 degrees, studied at King’s, Imperial, and UCL for my PhD—the traditional path that society loves to call “successful.” And for a while, I believed it too. But one day, it hit me: I was chasing someone else’s definition of success. It didn’t make me happy or fulfilled—it just felt like ticking off boxes that didn’t even matter to me. So, I redefined what success means for me. Now, I focus on 4 pillars that truly align with what I value in life: 1. Kids Have I been present with them today? Did I take the time to listen, connect, and enjoy their company? 2. Relationships/Family Did I spend meaningful time with my husband, away from work? Have I checked in with my family—my parents, siblings, or those closest to me? 3. Career Have I made progress towards my professional goals, no matter how small? 4. Faith Have I paused to reflect, give thanks, or simply be grateful for the blessings in my life? For me, if I can touch on these 4 pillars—even imperfectly—each day, that’s success. Revamp Space Translation (11/10/2025) Barcode: Thank you to P’AloneNew for inviting me to be part of this project. I feel really good. This is actually my first project with GMMTV, and I’m very happy — it’s been a genuine and very positive experience. Speaking of Ciar, it’s a really challenging role. Because he’s a vampire, it’s not something that reflects real life, so I couldn’t draw from real-life character traits. It’s like being in a novel — I had to explore and figure out what he’s like, which was a lot of fun. Getting to discover this character was both challenging and fulfilling every time I worked. Thank you so much — I feel really good about it. 👏 ========= Prem: I have a question for Barcode. I want to know — when you were playing the role, did you have a core principle or something you held onto? ========== P’AloneNew: Like, something he grounded himself on? ========== Prem: Yeah, because the character Ciar is quite extreme. So did you have a core idea or mindset going into a scene — like, “I am Ciar, so if I do this, it makes sense”? Something like that? ========== Barcode: Honestly, it was more about doing my homework. There wasn’t a fixed core or anything like that. But once I got to know the character deeply enough, I could just play him naturally. I didn’t have to consciously think like, “If I’m Ciar, I need to be cool, have a low voice.” It wasn’t about that. It’s more about what’s inside the character — what he’s been through, what happened in the previous scenes, what his backstory is, what just happened before coming into this scene, and how that made him feel. That’s a fundamental part of the acting craft. ========== Prem: So, Code, you place a lot of importance on preparation and studying the character before filming, right? ========== Barcode: Absolutely. I give it a lot of importance. I feel like the process of preparation is like 80:20. Everything we show on screen mostly comes from what we’ve done behind the scenes. Where do you get your dopamine? From the game itself? Or from stacking party tricks in the gym and posting about it? Too many guys fall in love with training. With being the hardest worker in the room. With the process itself. But that’s not the point. Training exists for one reason: to create an adaptation that helps you be better on the field. To bring up what’s limiting your performance so you can actually reach your goals. But a lot of guys now use training as a comfort blanket. They hide from failure behind hard lifts, weighted balls, or perfect mechanics. It feels good. It’s controllable. It gives you dopamine hits without the risk of real exposure. Because failure is real—and unavoidable. That’s what makes sports matter. Keep the main thing the main thing. Train to get better where it counts, not just to feel better about working hard. Hate me or love me, but your office and my office are different. This is just the truth so I’m going to say it. You work from a cubicle. I’m working from a boat, sitting in a hot tub, watching a seaplane fly over me. You’re working to build someone else’s dream. I’m working to build my own. You have to worry about the next meeting, the next email, the next task someone gives you. I have businesses willing to sponsor me on 𝕏 for a single post and pay me amounts that many people have to work months for. And this didn’t happen overnight. I spent years building my own brand, my own audience, and my own businesses. But that’s the difference between spending your life building someone else’s dream and spending it building your own. You have to wait for your shift to end to go home and spend time with your kids. My kids are right next to me. We’re working together, learning together, using Grok, asking questions, and experiencing life together. You count down the hours until you can leave work. You count down the days until the weekend. You count down the years until retirement. I don’t want to spend the best years of my life waiting until 65 to finally start living. I’d rather be dead, for real. I’m living right now. And that’s what people don’t understand about freedom. It’s not about owning the biggest house, the nicest watch, or the most expensive car. None of that shit really matters when you actually get it. It’s about owning your time. It’s about being able to work from anywhere. It’s about being present with your kids while they’re still kids. It’s about looking up when a seaplane flies over you instead of being too busy staring at the clock waiting for your shift to end. Technology like Starlink made this kind of life possible for me. I can be in the middle of the water and still work, build, learn, create, make $ money, and stay connected to the entire world. My office has no walls. My income isn’t decided by a boss. My schedule doesn’t need anyone’s approval. My kids don’t have to wait until I get home to spend time with me. And I don’t have to wait until I’m 65 to start living. We are not the same.

But I didn’t think they would reply to me, and that they’d want to come meet me too. So a meeting happened, and they were really interested in me, wow. In the sense that they could see my passion. Something about me, I guess - I wanted to get to that point, but they told me it’s exhausting. It’s going to be really exhausting, Bec. Because some days you have to join meetings at two or three in the morning. Oh, the time doesn’t match with back home, right? Yeah, the time isn’t the same. Or sometimes castings come really fast and then you have to go really fast - like that. Is the casting online, or do you have to fly there? Online. So I set up the camera like this and then act a little, perform for them to see. Yes. I’m really focused on it and I’m hoping for good news😊🫶

Amanda Anisimova was asked if players need more privacy from the behind the scenes cameras at the Australian Open “Yesterday Coco was talking about how players need a bit more privacy from the behind the scenes cameras. I’m wondering your thoughts? Whether you think it’s a bit intrusive and after a defeat like a day, how do you feel when you’re going backstage? Are you kind of conscious that they’re there? Maybe trying to hide emotions perhaps? Amanda: “You kind of know after a few days or 4 or 5 days that obviously you see on the internet you walking around. I knew that was there so I just kept my head down and went to the locker room. There are good moments obviously that people see, and that’s fun. When you lose there are probably not so good moments. I think the fact that the video of Coco that was posted, it’s tough because she didn’t have a say in that. But I think this deep down into the tournament I knew I didn’t have much privacy, so I just went to the locker room. I knew I was able to just be there, so…” (via Australian Open Press)

A fan asked Karn to review #LingOrm #วาดฝันวันวิวาห์ #InLoveForeverTheSeries Karn: The chemistry between Ling and Orm is so goddess, so romantic. Maybe it has some scenes that I think it’s so cute because they’re both so handsome and beautiful at the same time : You can speak Thai Karn: Ok, (speaking) Thai is fine, right? I’ll continue then. I can tell you that it’s so heart-fluttering because Wad Fun Wan Wiwah is the story of 2 ppl who are about to get married, right? Tbh, I’m not sure if they’re married yet, but they’re already living together. It’s shocking. It’s a version of Ling and Orm where they’re living together. There may be obstacles from the mother or from someone else, but they have to overcome a lot of obstacles. There are also some moments where I got to see Nong Orm and P’Ling in their dramatic scenes, and I think that’s so amazing because we’ll get to see even more growth in both Orm’s and Ling’s acting. Honestly, I’m not worried about Nong Orm at all because Nong Orm acts very well, she’s good at acting. From the very first time we worked together, I felt that she was definitely going to become famous because she’s so talented. And what I like is.. as I said earlier, Nong is so beautiful - her face, her figure, her personality. She behaves very well. So please support Wad Fun Wan Wiwah. What’s the English title again? This weekend sees the last ever episode of Football Focus broadcast on the BBC. One of my colleagues sent me this earlier this week. A montage of some of the stuff we did on the show and it brought back so many lovely memories ❤️ I can tell you exact spot where I was standing on the old runway at Turnberry golf club when I got the call to see if I wanted to become the presenter of Football Focus. I was covering The Open in 2009 and it was one of the best conversations I have ever had. For a kid who had grown up watching the show every week with my dad it was an amazing privilege to know that I would be hosting a programme which had always been such a big part of my weekend. I called my dad immediately and he was just as pleased as I was. When the news was announced I had a phone call from the one and only Bob Wilson. He was so warm and encouraging, as he always is, and said “Dan, you are gonna love this job. There is nothing like it… make sure you take care of it”. I hope I did. As a former custodian of the couch, Bob knew how special it was and I felt the same way when I handed over the reins to the brilliant Alex Scott when I left Focus after 12 seasons. People still talk to me about the show all the time. Focus is stitched into my life and I know there are still so many fans who really care about it which is why it’s such a crazy decision to get rid of it. Move it to Saturday morning, tinker with the format but, in a world where there is such a premium on reliable and trusted brands, why would you throw away over 50 years of hard work and history? It carries weight. I remember interviewing Pele years ago and I told him I was from Football Focus and he said “I know all about Football Focus” with a big smile. When we were filming a show about the history of Barcelona at the Nou Camp we were about to sit down to talk to Eusebio and Johan Cryuff (I had to pinch myself about that one) and Sir Bobby Charlton walked over and said to them, “You can tell this is important gentlemen… the team from Football Focus are here”. When I called Noel Gallagher to talk about an idea we had to get him to interview Mario Ballotelli at Manchester City he rearranged his world tour to be there. Obviously Balotelli was a draw but Noel said “I’d do anything for Football Focus”. When I interviewed Jurgen Klopp in the tearoom at Exeter City before an FA cup tie the lovely ladies serving brews were wedged into the corner while we spoke. I introduced them to Mr Klopp afterwards and he apologised for stealing their space; “Don’t worry about that” they said. “We’ve just been on Football Focus! Wait until we tell the family about this!”. I know the game has changed and the way we consume it has changed but there is still an audience there if you find the right place for it, promote it, ‘take care of it’ and give fans the chance to be part of the conversation on an informed, thoughtful and entertaining show about the sport we all love. I am gutted it’s going but also so thankful for all the amazing people I got to work with over the years. They remain life-long friends and I still can’t quite believe I got to sit alongside the people I grew up watching play the game at the highest level. I remember when Alan Shearer called me “Dan” on one of the first shows I worked on. The little kid inside me thought “Alan Shearer knows my name!”. It was a pleasure to work with so many brilliant pundits and it was great to watch Alex develop on Focus and then go on to host the programme so well. I was asked this week to pick a favourite moment from my 12 years on the show. It’s a very hard question because I have a huge catalogue of wonderful memories. I always look back on our on-the-road shows because we were taking Focus out to the fans; their club was the canvas and we got to paint a beautiful picture together each week about what the place meant to the community, the history, the culture and all the things that were part of that.
