This is a high altitude view of the entire North Campus construction site at Giga Texas where the new 10M/yr Optimus factory is being constructed! The approach is similar to what we saw with the main factory building when it began construction. Grade preparation & old sand & gravel mine reclamation work, while GeoPiers put in piers to support footings & then steel erection beginning int eh center part of the structure, then proceeding to the N & then S as the structure assembly progresses. Tesla construction uses an agile & Minimum Essential Capability (MEC) approach which means we are likely to see portions of the factory be completed more quickly than other portions to allow the start of equipment installation & initial testing before the rest of the structure is completed. I also think we are seeing this in two main parts … the first where the structure is rising now & the second, further south where ground reclamation work is still needed before grade preparation can begin. Again, this is very reminiscent of how the main factory was constructed in 2020 through 2022.

🇧🇫 Just In .. A new power plant is nearing completion on the outskirts of Ouagadougou. Many others are also under construction and are expected to be completed before year end. Captain IB promised that every region will have its own power plants. Since mid-2025, Burkina Faso has been producing 51% of its electricity needs. It imports around 38% from Ghana, while the remainder is split between Togo and Ivory Coast. By 2030, as outlined in the detailed development plan, Burkina Faso will produce 100% of its electricity needs domestically. And this is all before the construction of the nuclear power plant. The Giga Texas Optimus Factory has made a lot of progress with ground work, GeoPiers & now the steel superstructure which has grown to 4 Floors, at least in the sender section! This is similar to the main factory construction and I suspect we will see varying levels throughout the structure as it continues to build out. This means that with the extension work to the south to reclaim even more land to further lengthen the structure, it will have a meaningful % of the 11 Million Sq Ft of the main factory, so this is truly becoming a massive factory! A large steel staging yard in nearby in the “lone tree” field & several large cranes are at work actively adding more steel as they build out from the center, again, very similar to how the main factory was constructed. Check it out!

The Department of Energy has formally approved our Preliminary Documented Safety Analysis (PDSA) for the Mark-0 reactor—our first demonstration reactor, scheduled to go live before July 4, 2026. Mark-0 will validate fueling operations, reactor controls, and core physics. This demonstration is a critical step toward generating electricity from advanced microreactors. Mark-0 uses a full-scale core and the same facility and fuel that will support our next reactor test in 2027. The PDSA defines the preliminary safety basis for the reactor, facility, and planned operations, demonstrating that our approach meets DOE expectations at this stage. This approval validates our safety case and establishes a clear pathway to final acceptance as we prepare for fabrication, assembly, and installation. Mark-0 will be tested at Idaho National Laboratory in Building 793—now the Reactors and Critical Experiments facility—a site with deep nuclear history. Decades ago, this building housed ML-1, the Army’s first mobile nuclear reactor. Today, it supports the next generation of deployable nuclear power. We find the historical relevance fitting and inspiring, as Antares develops a similar-scale microreactor to meet Army operational and installation needs. Since 2024, we’ve worked to establish this facility as an enduring testbed, enabling rapid progress without the need for groundbreaking construction. We’re grateful for our partners at DOE and INL, and for leaders like Congressman Mike Simpson who continue to support the American nuclear renaissance.

Good news, Tesla is now one step closer to starting construction on a new $10.1 billion solar manufacturing factory near Houston, Texas. The Lamar CISD board has unanimously approved moving forward with a tax incentive agreement for Tesla's proposed "Project Crystal Sun." Lamar board member: “I am ultimately going to support this because I believe a project of this size will be a net positive impact for our county, including the 10,000 jobs. The restoration of the National Theatre is almost completed with a World Class 5,000-seater main amphitheatre, flanked by two world-class cinema rooms, 3000-seater banquet hall, exhibition halls, VIP Spaces, creative hubs, Green rooms, over 300 toilets and much more. UPDATE: Today, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu was on an inspection tour of the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts (The National Theatre, Iganmu), which is undergoing massive rehabilitation works by the Bankers Committee. Weekly drone flight update on the Giga Texas Tesla Optimus factory construction. There is a noticeable jump in steel assembly this week … mid/south bays filling over the footing field, the steel structure assembly is pushing towards the north grade beam. This is the brand-new dedicated ~7M sq ft plant for the 10M/yr line. First (limited) production is expected sometime in late 2027. Meanwhile, some other Optimus Robot news: at the Fremont factory in California, the smaller 1M/yr pilot production plant is reportedly coming on-line quickly. Supply-chain reports this week of a first ~5k-unit parts order (unconfirmed). Optimus may be the hardest product Tesla has ever tried to scale and both the pilot line at Fremont and this new factory (10X larger) are making fast progress to allow the scale manufacturing needed for millions of humanoid robots coming in the next few years, beginning with the V3 robots from Fremont starting in 2027 and then V4 robots from this facility late in 2027 and into 2028. We are pleased to announce that the newly completed 250-bed Ogun State Medical Center of Excellence in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta will be commissioned in December 2025. During our recent inspection, we confirmed that the project, originally built but left incomplete by the past administration, has now reached an advanced stage, with exterior works, landscaping, the entrance canopy, gate, and oxygen systems already in place. We have directed the contractors to increase manpower so operations can begin within the next two to three weeks. We are positioning this facility as a “spoke” of the Abuja Medical Center of Excellence, which partners internationally with King’s College Hospital. Once fully completed and handed over to Healthshare Services Limited, the hospital will be managed to world-class standards and become the first point of care for our people. This project had significant structural, civil, and electrical gaps when we assumed office, but through our PPP office, we secured Healthshare as a credible partner and signed an MoU to complete and operate the hospital. When this center opens, it will drastically reduce medical tourism and limit the constant movement of patients from Ogun to Lagos or other institutions. Its location will also serve residents across Ogun, Oyo, Osun, and Ekiti, offering a more convenient and accessible alternative. According to the project managers, the basement, ground floor, radiology, laboratory, and consulting rooms are ready, while the theatre, ICU, and wards on the first floor are being finalized to meet our December commissioning target.
