you trimmed the prompt to get back under the line the prompt was never the part that grows tool results append themselves, they are large, and nobody asks you first, so a session that opened at thirty thousand crosses on turn nine and turn nine is indistinguishable from turn eight until the invoice arrives you cannot trim a conversation you have not had yet what you needed was never a shorter prompt it was one line that checks the number before the request leaves
