A gabion wall is basically a giant sieve, if you don't manage the flow, you're just building a DIY dam. Without proper drainage, hydrostatic pressure builds up, and that rock-solid wall starts looking more like a leaning tower.

Not only do they need a proper sanitation system, but the drainage system is our countries is just ridiculous. We have the same problem almost everywhere. Guinea has so much rainfall and the State should build drains accordingly.
