Wiengarten DID NOT say that she wouldn’t read these books in her classroom! She said she wouldn’t read them to 4-6 year olds! What about 7, 8,9,10,11 and 12 year olds? This has been misquoted since the interview! She’s paving the way for groomers.

When I was a kid I wanted to be a pirate. But I'm really glad my mother didn't pluck my eye out and amputate my leg. Because after the fairy tale years (2-11) I started to be comfortable in my own skin.

Those books are not appropriate at any age in school. Any kid that reads these without adult supervision is going to be damaged mentally. Sex ed needs to go back to parents.
