Psyonix please test your maps before you release them 🙃 Yet another one with a different mesh causing TAS divergence and I think the boost pads are smaller, although that could technically just be an illusion because i cannot set it up identically if the map mesh isn't identical

Thanks to @Kliickz_ for double checking. The small boost pads are indeed smaller on Neo Tokyo (Hacked). Now listed on

@pulse_max this would explain why i often don't pick up as many pads on this map when I swear i go over them. nice to know its not a placebo ig 😭

Holy Crap you're right. I remembered that there was a pad hitbox plugin so I quickly downloaded. Wasted boost until I was at 0 and did a comparison, you can tell in the regular Neo Tokyo I accumulated 2 Pads (24) whilst barely being inside said hitbox. Tested and confirmed!!

psyonix releasing maps that literally just need to be copy pasted and then reskinned but somehow fucking it up

I will pull this video out every time I run out of boost on this map now.

The best solution would be to have all levels load the literal same package which has: • All collision geometry, hidden • Goals, spawns, other hidden game things • Boost pads Underwater_P.upk (possibly Underwater_Field) is 95% of the way. Then all new maps are purely visuals.
