Sharing for Kingston. To save his life. “Kingston means "king's town" ... but his reality couldn't be further from that. Instead of a kingdom, he has a kennel. Instead of a family, he has people who walk past him. Every single day. Kingston is only one year old. Just a baby. And he is the sweetest boy. Gentle, loving, playful, and so full of love to give. He is dog friendly, amazing with kids, and everything about him says "perfect family dog." Right now, Kingston is on the urgent list. And somehow... not one person has ever stopped to meet him. Not one person has ever asked to take Kingston out of his kennel. They walk by while he spins, jumps, and moves nonstop. They see chaos. They don't see stress. They don't see fear. They don't see a young dog losing his mind in an overwhelming environment. This is not excitement. This is kennel stress. This is what happens when a loving, energetic dog is trapped behind bars with nowhere to go and no one to turn to. If someone would just stop. If someone would just ask to meet him. They would see the real Kingston. Take him outside and he softens. A sweet, gentle, playful boy who loves fetch and proudly brings the ball back, dropping it right at your feet every time. A dog who wants to be close. A dog who wants to belong. He is sweet. He is gentle. He is playful. And, he does not deserve to be invisible. We don't know how Kingston is with cats. But we do know he deserves a home, a family, and a life that finally matches his name. He is running out of time. This is who he is!! Please stop scrolling. Please share Kingston. Please help him be seen.” 🙏 I shared this post from @ Sharing Lov3 on Tik Tok in hopes it helps Kingston be seen and be saved. Details on Kingston in the comments.

MAX DESERVED BETTER. THREE TIMES. And somehow… he still loves with his whole entire heart. Max is a purebred German Rottweiler who was purchased from a breeder by a young girl. When she left for college, she dumped him at the high-kill NYCACC shelter. He was sentenced to death. We stepped in. We saved him. We promised him forever. He was adopted. We thought he finally had his happy ending. But then he was dumped AGAIN—this time at a high-kill shelter in Pennsylvania. We fought HARD to get Max back. We used every favor we had. We had insiders helping us. We turned over every stone because Layla’s Heart Ranch & Rescue NEVER leaves a dog behind. When we commit to a dog, we commit. We have NEVER euthanized a dog for behavior. We have NEVER sent a dog back to a shelter. We will ALWAYS take a dog back—even ten years down the road. We NEVER abandon our adopters. We NEVER abandon our fosters. That is who we are. That is what “last chance” actually means. But Max’s story didn’t stop there. The original owner—the girl who dumped him at the shelter—ended up picking him up because she was still on the microchip. She then berated US, accusing US of almost getting her dog killed. Ma’am… you abandoned him at a kill shelter. WE saved him. She blocked us everywhere. We had no way to follow up. But then a message came in… a little birdy letting us know the truth: She moved out of her apartment and LEFT Max there. She called the police to pick him up. And he ended up back on the kill list at NYCACC. They never notified us. But an insider did. And this time? We got him back. For GOOD. For the last time. Forever. Max is SAFE now. He is LOVED. He is HOME. And he will never again have to wonder if he is wanted. This is why we do what we do. This is why we can’t ever stop. And this is why your support matters—because dogs like Max need warriors behind them. If you would like to help us continue saving the forgotten, the betrayed, the left-behind… your donation truly makes that possible. P.s Max LOVES his blue ball and could use a new one for the holidays Donate: Thank you for standing with Max. Thank you for standing with us. He deserved better—and now he finally has it. #max #rotteweiler #maxncheese #nokill #endanimalabuse #laylasheartranchandrescue #lastchancerescue #secondchancerescue #dogrescue #animalsanctuary #animalwelfare #beingkindiscool #charity #donate #nonprofit #germanrotteweiler #texas

Almost five years ago, one of our bright beneficiaries, David, lost his mother after she travelled to the Upper East Region to seek medical treatment. He became an orphan. In the midst of that tragedy, he left Accra and disappeared from our scholarship programme. We did everything we could to bring him back. We had even identified a loving family that was ready to take him in so he could continue his education through our Student Training and Education Programme (STEP), but his family was not ready to let him return. We never gave up. In 2024, we heard that David had returned to Accra, so we travelled to Kasoa to look for him. We were relieved to find him, but his family was not forthcoming, making it difficult for us to stay in touch. Sadly, by the time we returned, he had been taken back to the Upper East Region. Then, just recently, we received the phone call we had been praying for. One of David’s cousins had brought him back after learning that he was being mistreated. At just 13 years old, David had been out of school for years and was being made to work on farms instead. Today, David is finally back. He may be behind in school, but he is not behind in potential. We are determined to help him catch up, heal, and build the future he deserves. As we prepare to support David’s return to school, he will need school fees, uniforms, books, stationery, personal items, counselling, and the care every child deserves to thrive. If David’s story has touched your heart and you would like to help him, we’d be very grateful for your support. Every contribution will go towards helping him rebuild his life and continue his education. Because every child deserves a chance. And at For The Future Ghana, we refuse to give up on children who need our help the most. If you’d like to support David, please send me a DM. 🙏🏽
