(1) You’ll need to provide ID in order to use the #DigitalPound: “For the digital pound, tiered access would allow for different levels of user access and functionality based on the amount of identification (ID) a user is willing or able to provide.” (2) The Bank will dictate how much you can hold: “The Bank would place some limits on holdings of digital pounds, at least during its introductory period.” (3) The digital pound will be programmable, if not by the Bank itself then by third party providers: “Programmability, delivered by Payment Interface Providers, could also enable the use of smart contracts, which carry out specific actions based on pre-defined terms and conditions.” Quotes are from from the Bank of England’s Digital Pound consultation paper: Whatever the #DigitalPound will be, it won’t be cash. Video diffusion models have strong implicit representations of 3D shape, material, and lighting, but controlling them with language is cumbersome, and control is critical for artists and animators. GenLit connects these implicit representations with a continuous 5D control signal describing the direction and intensity of a point light source. I see the Left-wing/Ukrainian bots got their talking points. They went from “the labs don’t exist”, to “okay the labs exist but they were doing defensive research”. “Defensive research” is a lie. In the process of defensive research, you create a bioweapon. I’ll explain. Defensive zoonotic research, is when scientists intentionally make animal viruses transmissible in humans, so they can study the virus and proactively develop vaccines, just in case these animal viruses naturally mutate and jump to humans. This way, we have the vaccines already on hand if something were to happen. In theory, it sounds like a good idea, but in the process of creating these vaccines, you must first modify a deadly zoonotic disease, and give it the ability to jump to humans. That’s a biological weapon. If it gets out of the lab, it can now infect the world, and in the case of C19, a man-made bat coronavirus, it did infect the world, and killed millions of people. Why was it so contagious? Because scientists artificially gave it the ability to be transmissible in humans, thus the term “gain of function”. What is the function these zoonotic diseases are gaining? The ability to jump to, and kill, humans. So when anyone says “it’s just defensive research”, they have no idea what they are talking about, and are either running cover or repeating talking points. Systems created from racism cannot be reformed. That is why we keep seeing the same thing happen over and over again… with police and with ICE. An unarmed Black man, in Milwaukee, was shot in the head three times after being tased and restrained by five officers. Meanwhile, just 80 miles away, a white man was actively on top of a police officer, assaulting him… and was taken into custody without being shot. We have seen this same disparity play out over and over again. And we will continue to see this happen because… American policing is deeply rooted in systems created to control and hunt down Black populations... and ICE was created from a system rooted in racial exclusion, and the criminalization of immigrants. And we see the consequences of that history every single day. The problem is not just a few bad officers/agents, or a lack of training. The problem is not just that the wrong person was hired… These systems were built on racism. They were built to use state violence against certain people. You cannot reform a system whose foundation is rotten. You cannot train racism out of a system created by racism. You cannot reform your way out of a structure that is operating how it was designed to operate. BTW, for those wondering, the issue I talked about earlier was with dbrand's Killswitch for Switch 2 grip. They are a sponsor of the channel. So people naturally have questions when they see videos like this (came from their reddit). Because I am NOT a normal customer, and instead being sponsored by them, I have the unique opportunity to talk to them directly about the issue. They just got back to me. Here is what I can share from our communication: "Yep, we’re definitely working on it. Ultimately, this is a manufacturing tolerance issue on the small lip that keeps the Joy-Con Grips attached to the Joy-Cons (some were a hair too thick). We’ve got a replacement program set up already, where anyone who is affected is able to email robotsdbrand.com with “July Joy-Cons” in the subject to be added to the list for replacement stock in July." So they are aware of it, and they did tell me they can replicate it with a small number of units from their run. I won't share the exact number of units that have this issue - it's quite tiny compared to their total manufacturing run - but they have confirmed there is a certain run of units that do indeed have this issue. They are offering free replacements to be shipped in July for those affected.
