Agreed. The math is solved — NIST FIPS 203 (ML-KEM) & 204 (ML-DSA) finalized Aug 2024 and ready for immediate use. The hard part is migration at scale: CBOM + crypto-agility + hybrid X25519/ML-KEM. 2030 is a board issue, not an R&D issue.

In this video, I provide an overview of the current position of the WISeKey Group and explain how the different companies within the ecosystem interact with and reinforce each other. The objective is to show that WISeKey, SEALSQ and are not isolated businesses, but increasingly interconnected components of a common technology architecture. Each company has a distinct mission—digital trust and identity, post-quantum semiconductors and cybersecurity, sovereign space infrastructure, and quantum technologies—but they share technologies, customers, infrastructure and strategic opportunities. The video also explains the broader vision of where we are going: building a vertically integrated sovereign technology platform, extending from the Root of Trust and secure semiconductors to quantum computing, secure communications, satellites and trusted digital infrastructure. Most importantly, I explain how the investments and acquisitions we are making today are designed to strengthen this ecosystem. The value is therefore not only in each individual company, but also in the interactions and synergies between them. The message of the video is ultimately about the transition of WISeKey from a cybersecurity company into a broader sovereign technology group positioned at the convergence of cybersecurity, post-quantum cryptography, quantum computing, AI, IoT and space—and the roadmap we are following to build that vision.

The lab focuses on quantum materials, non-equilibrium dynamics, photonics, quantum information science and other easily digestible areas. Beyond her academic career, Narang is a science advisor to the government and a venture capitalist at DCVC. As you might imagine, we get into quantum computing and quantum technology in this episode. China is stealing encrypted data now so they can crack it later once quantum computing catches up, which means our national security, banking systems, military intelligence, federal secrets and yes, even the nuclear codes are all part of the stakes. President Donald J. Trump set a 2030 deadline for high-value federal systems to move to post-quantum security, which is both absolutely necessary and deeply terrifying when you remember we are asking the same bureaucracy that treats updating a PDF like the moon landing to rewrite the encryption backbone of the federal government. This is the new arms race, and whoever gets there first does not just win a technology race. They gain the ability to dominate the digital world. Watch the interview. The future is coming fast, and pretending otherwise is naive, at best.
