That never happens. Particles do retain their mass, charge and so on. Even photons. This quantum stuff needs to be taken down a notch.

Tried it out in @imajourn with a hexagonal boundary...first with a single pulse and then some Chladni patterns with continuous pulses...

these are incredibly beautiful. A few decades ago you needed a huge huge datacenter filled with massively parallel CPU systems to make this type of computations.

Hyperbolic harmonic moiré diffraction waves. Beautiful.

In the early 1970s we did equations with paper and pencil. We didn't do much though since we could only do simple things.

The result will always be a Galton pattern.

It looks cool but I don't believe this is how reality works though. Matter is composed of electrons and shields of nothing. How these electrons oscillate around these shields is wavelike. The aether is of shielded electrons. Maybe there are wavelike interactions. A deuterium:

So does the lattice accelerate the particle due to some kind of Beronulli principle. Can a particle of light be accelerated; since it moves at different speed depending on the medium it's traveling through?

I think we solved light by now. Let's move data centers into space now.

Yeah, but particle of what in lattice of what? There’s so many variables you’re not describing

even God doesn’t know if He’s throwing dice or not. The volatility or the particle nature — it all depends on what state the observer is in

And this is why you forget to buy something in the grocery store... it slips your mind. (I'm sorry.)

I think the interference pattern actually starts forming before the particle hits the target, because it is not a solid. The exit interference pattern is a reverse mirror image of the entrance pattern.

A very good visual example of how floquet states are established and a basic precept for floquet driving.

That’s amazing, needs to be a constant beam of waves instead of circle of them…

I had electronics behind the beam and was wondering if it was being showered by back scattering particles (neutrons) and this animation shows a great visual on this; thanks. The back scatter seams to be causing bit flips on my DDR4. I have to run an A/C Reset when this happens. The particle is traveling at the speed of light and my electronics is about 100 feet away but still sensitive e to this back scatter; even while its behind concrete blocks.
