Actually, it's more powerful than just delete something from CLI. The "deleted" part is stored in a buffer and, you can reuse it by just pressing CTRL+Y.

Oh wow, this a huge one! What I had been doing instead was `home`, and holding ctrl+del to delete quickly.

My biggest annoyances with VS Code (and in turn Cursor) is I've never been able to get Find + Multi-Cursor with arrow keys working like I did in Sublime Text I use it a lot to edit lists of text fast I go Cmd+Find "SGD" for example, then Find All, then I literally have 10 cursors on every SGD, I can arrow key through the letters around it, or use Option/Alt-Left or Right to skip through words, or Command-Left or Right to to the beginning or the end of the line Then I can use Shift to select I'm super fast at editing like that but none of the shortcuts work in VS Code or Cursor similarly The internet says use Cmd+Shift+L to do it, but all that happens in Cursor is I end up in the AI chat and I don't wanna go there

Sharing this Godot quick tip for the new people trying to figure out how to mess with the game while it's running! ✨ (Thanks to Daniel Queiroz Porto and and Ian Williams for pointing this out) 1. Go to the Project Settings 2. Click "Advanced Settings" 3. In "Window" highlight "Always on Top" and create a new editor override for it by choosing "editor" from the list and clicking "Add" 4. Enable the new override you just added 5. Now when you run the scene (Ctrl+R) the window will always stay on top! 6. Press the Camera icon on top of the viewport to sync your editor camera to the game camera 7. Click on the "Remote" tab of the Scene panel. All of the changes you make to these objects will sync with your game in real time! Bonus Tip: You can make it switch to the "Remote" tab by default when you run the game if you go to Editor Settings (Ctrl+Comma) -> Network -> Debugger and click "Auto Switch to Remote Scene Tree"! #godottips

The song’s meaning is that even if people part ways, true love, like a planet, follows its orbit and can return to the same point - the “return line.” It’s a metaphor for destiny, second chances, and the belief that everything happens in its own time. One beautiful line from the lyrics goes: “There are so many people in the world, yet I met you.”

Did you know that in Blender you can easily make the rotation of one object drive the rotation of another? ✨ 1. Select your object 2. Hover over one of its rotation fields and press CTRL+D 3. In the popup select the rotation of another object 4. You can write "smoothstep(0, tau, var) * 2" to both limit the rotation and make it non-linear. Tau is 180 degrees, and it's the end angle for the wheel, and 2 is the end angle for the gate leaf in radians (3 is approx. 180, so 2 is approx 2/3 of that!) 5. To copy the animation to the second leaf, select both, press CTRL+L, and choose 'Link Animation Data'. To invert the angle, add a minus sign, and you're done! 👌 #b3d

While I have Solaris 7 up & running, let's also take a look at Amaya, an old web browser/editor from the W3C itself. 🤓🌐✍️ Amaya existed for many years but was sadly discontinued in 2012. More history here: Here's a clip of me using Amaya 4.0 for Solaris, released in Nov 2000. At the end, I press Ctrl+X, Ctrl+S, which is the save shortcut. That's what causes the right (HTML source) window to synchronize.

One thing I’ve noticed online and in training over the years: Many discussions about CQB seem to revolve around corners…Everything becomes about the corners. How to approach them. Than how to clear them and eventually to protect yourself from them. And corners matter. But sometimes it feels as if the center of the room disappears from the conversation. The depth of the room. The space between the walls. The places where people actually move, stand, and fight. Especially around closed doors, the problem isn’t always hiding in a corner.
