We had a company vehicle stolen from our Westminster location several weeks ago. Last week we received a parking ticket from our 'friends' in the Denver police department. They ticketed our stolen vehicle after it was listed as stolen and wanted us to pay the ticket.

People always complaining about officer involved shootings. These criminals are lucky there isn’t more. I think officers show restraint more than an average citizen would.

The driver backed a (stolen) car into the doors, then pried his way into the church. When deputies arrived, they saw the vehicle leaving the scene. A deputy tried to pull over the driver, who fled. After a short pursuit, stop sticks were deployed, which disabled the vehicle. The suspect stopped and surrendered without further incident. Douglas County Deputies Assist in DUI Pursuit with Successful Grappler Deployment In the early hours of October 4, 2025, at approximately 4:22 A.M., Douglas County Deputies responded to assist the Aurora Police Department in pursuit of a suspected DUI driver traveling westbound on E-470, passing Gartrell Road. Douglas County deputies responded immediately and set up two sets of stop sticks along E-470 in an attempt to bring the pursuit to a safe conclusion. Despite these efforts, the suspect vehicle continued westbound. A Douglas County Deputy, operating a patrol vehicle equipped with the Grappler device, joined the pursuit along with another deputy. After positioning behind the suspect, both maneuvered to the front of the pursuit. The suspect vehicle, which struck the concrete barrier multiple times, was ultimately stopped when our deputy successfully deployed the Grappler just west of South Quebec Street. The vehicle was brought to an immediate and controlled stop. The suspect was compliant and taken into custody by Aurora Police without incident. Paw Paw, Michigan — Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a red Chevy pickup truck after observing a wanted suspect, who deputies identified as 60-year-old Jeffrey Henry, driving the vehicle. Deputies made contact with Henry who refused to exit the vehicle. Henry was a wanted suspect, he threatened to damage the deputy's vehicle and stated he was not going to exit the vehicle or comply with commands. The deputy observed Henry place the vehicle into four-wheel drive and into gear attempting to drive away. The deputy reached out and appeared to puncture the back left tire. Henry fled leading deputies on a slow speed pursuit through the Village of Paw Paw. Henry attempted to get back to his residence during the pursuit and out of concern for officers' safety, Sheriff Daniel Abbott was able to get in front of Henry's vehicle bringing the pursuit to an end. Henry who was currently out on bond for separate charges was taken into custody on multiple charges including Flee and Elude and outstanding warrants.

3 Arrested – Stolen Vehicle DCSO Deputies were patrolling Highlands Ranch when they reviewed an alert from an Automatic License Plate Reader for a stolen vehicle. Deputies began searching the area for the car and located it parked in a strip mall’s lot. Deputies formulated a plan and blocked the vehicle in the parking spot. Deputies took the driver and rear passenger into custody without incident, then located the 3rd passenger walking the strip mall's parking lot and took her into custody without incident. On Sunday, July 5, 2026, at approximately 10:00 am, our Communications Center received a call of a battered and bloody woman screaming for help in the 2200 block of Zinfandel Drive in Rancho Cordova. As deputies were on their way, additional 9-1-1 calls came in as the woman went door to door attempting to get help. Fortunately, one residence allowed the victim inside to wait for responding deputies. Deputies contacted the victim, who described surviving three days of brutal beatings from her ex-husband. She said she was beaten, pistol-whipped, and strangled until she lost consciousness. Another vicious beating occurred that morning. The victim described how she “played dead” until the suspect left the room. That allowed her to flee the home and seek help. The victim stated she did not know where the suspect might be, but assumed he would still be at her residence where the beatings had occurred. She made sure to remind the deputies that the suspect had a pistol and was always armed. Deputies went to the victim’s residence. The suspect was no longer at the location, and the victim’s vehicle was missing. Deputies put out a BOLO (be on the lookout) for the vehicle to all neighboring jurisdictions. North Patrol Deputies located the vehicle on Fair Oaks Blvd near the intersection of Kenneth Ave. Deputies attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, but the suspect fled, initiating a pursuit. The pursuit eventually traveled onto eastbound I-80, where an officer-involved shooting occurred just west of the Antelope Road exit. The suspect was struck with gunfire and ultimately pronounced dead at the scene by the Sacramento Metro Fire Department. No deputies were injured during this incident. For more information, visit

If you steal from our businesses, we WILL find you and we WILL arrest you,” said Sheriff Darren Weekly. “We’re grateful for retailers who report these incidents right away.” Deputies monitored the suspects as they got onto C‑470. The driver exited at Yosemite, stopped, and tried to run. Deputies caught him in a nearby field where he apologized and asked “what was I supposed to do?” Our deputy responded, “Not run brother.” A second suspect fled toward Lone Tree. With help from Lone Tree Police Department, deputies found him hiding in heavy brush. He surrendered and was taken into custody. The truck jackknifed at the Yosemite exit after the suspects bailed out, damaging their own vehicle but no others. What started as a FLOCK alert for a stolen vehicle quickly turned into a coordinated response by Officers on the ground. After locating the vehicle and confirming it was stolen, one of our officers attempted a traffic stop. The suspect chose to flee. Rather than initiate a pursuit, the officers deployed a GPS tracking device and monitored the vehicle from a safe distance. A short time later, the vehicle came to a stop in a nearby neighborhood. Officers moved in and located the suspect nearby. He attempted to run but was quickly taken into custody. During the arrest, Officers recovered a firearm from the suspect’s backpack, along with marijuana. The suspect showed signs of impairment, and a warrant for a blood draw was obtained. This is what it looks like when training, technology, and teamwork come together. A dangerous situation brought under control without the need for a pursuit, reducing risk for everyone involved.

Newly released video shows Utah County sheriff’s deputies and Utah Highway Patrol troopers stopping a wrong-way driver on I-15 early last month. According to the original incident report, two deputies responded to an agency assist after reports of a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-15 near mile marker 263. Deputies located the vehicle near mile marker 269. One deputy struck the driver’s side of the vehicle, spinning it into another deputy’s patrol car, which prevented the wrong-way vehicle from reentering traffic. Both deputies and both occupants of the vehicle were not injured. All three vehicles sustained damage. Utah Highway Patrol took over the crash investigation and investigated the driver for DUI. The Utah County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened shortly after 4 a.m. on Jan. 24, calling wrong-way driving a recurring and dangerous problem on Utah roadways. The sheriff’s office praised the deputies for putting themselves in harm’s way and said it is grateful no one was hurt. UHP continues to handle the crash and DUI investigation.
