my only gripe when i use the lattice is that it cant be mirrored pain

ugh yes that is pain

give this a shot as well

I'm going to ABSOLUTELY FUCKING SCREAM it was that easy to do ALL ALONG. I swear to god I've been STRUGGLING with clothing SO MUCH to make it fit - even when making it from scratch but it was THAT easy to make things fit... THANK you.

Blender modifiers are such an amazing thing, and finding clever uses for them is even better. Thank you for this very helpful tutorial ^^

You call my Workflow destructive!!?!??! 😐 JK. Thanks for the tutorial 💜

Yes!!! I also love the surface deform modifier for getting blendshapes. When you adjust your blendshape don’t apply the modifier, click save as shape!

but can u apply that modifier on clothes with blendshapes ?

@RAlSHlN you can yes!

If it's a flat object, something that doesn't need to completely wrap around, you can use a flat lattice with shrink-wrap to preserve volume and get a very snug fit as well. (I wonder if there's a way to shrink wrap a 3D lattice)
