Great to reveal that I have a book coming out this October. I was writing this through 2024 and wanted to share my passion for racing and horses and what a year in the life of a jockey looks like. This will give readers a level of access, honesty and insight and I hope it shows what my fellow jockeys and I go through each season. $BTC'S FIRST-EVER MEMORY BUG Bitcoin developers disclosed CVE-2024-52911 on Tuesday, a high-severity bug in the network's main node software that let miners crash other people's nodes or potentially execute code on them remotely. The use-after-free vulnerability in the script validation engine affected versions 0.14.1 through 28.4. Developer Niklas Gögge called it the first memory safety issue ever disclosed in the project's history. Cory Fields of the MIT Digital Currency Initiative privately reported the bug in November 2024. Pieter Wuille shipped the fix in version 29.0 in April 2025, and the last vulnerable release line reached end of life last month. The exploit required burning hashpower on specially crafted invalid blocks, making it expensive in practice and likely never used. Roughly 43% of Bitcoin nodes are still running pre-v29 software, per Clark Moody dashboard data.

Josh was nice enough to support me up Daddy Issues in a day. I did it a few weeks ago with Chris Weidner as my first climb in the Valley for the season; it was nice to come back to it feeling more tuned up and to climb it in a casual 7.5h. SUCCESS!! I managed to patch the boot image on my bootloader unlocked Quest 1 and got 90 Hz on the Quest 1, I am probably the first person outside of Oculus/Meta to have this. Surprisingly, it runs pretty good on games like Beat Saber, I just used a WebXR demo for the FPS.

Recently we had a bug on Switch where NPC interactions (which have Depth of Field) caused a horrible crawling black pixels bug. We saw reports of a similar bug with certain AMD 7xxx series cards with #NoMansSky Worlds Part II, but until this week hadn’t been able to reproduce this issue - our players reported various semi fix methods with AA modes and windows settings, adding to the mystery. I reproduced the bug yesterday after finding a YouTube link on Reddit that happened to show their full graphics settings! You can see the bug here in my quick phone capture of the horror bug! 4 hours of shader debugging later and I have submitted a fix which should make it into the next patch. On the surface this bug looks the same as the Switch issue which was NaN propagation - but it wasn’t: Interested to see if any graphics programmers here can have a stab at what the bug is, bearing in mind it was on one class of GPUs only.

This is not only bc it’s a day I’ve waited for so long, but bc I’ve spent years battling the doubters, taking so many hits from the haters, knowing $TSLA was undervalued, as this day was approaching. And now that it’s here, all I’ve got left to say is… I told you so.

🚨 Bug Report: Layerswap accidentally turned $ETH into a stablecoin. ✨ Turns out in an alternate reality 1 $DAI = 1 $ETH. 🤡 Courtesy of a very creative bug from a dev who is…no longer with us. One user discovered the glitch and farmed it like a side quest boss. We reached out asking for a return of funds (with a 10% bounty) and, luckily, got them back. Kudos to SEAL 911 guys for contributing greatly to the investigation efforts. $ETH as a stablecoin was fun while it lasted. Back to reality now. To all lucky adventurers: Try swapping on Layerswap, you might end up with a huge profit 😉 If you still think we’re joking, check the txns:
